I believe this dental office is more focused on money than patient care. When I first brought my daughter here, I was told she needed a root canal. A couple of months later, when I returned, I was told she no longer needed the root canal but instead required four crowns and a filling. I originally came here because my daughter had a broken filling with a cavity, but the treatment plan quickly expanded into multiple additional procedures that felt excessive. The tooth that was extracted was one that had previously been filled. I was told it needed to be removed, but I do not believe the extraction was necessary. What is most concerning is that the treatment plan appears to have been changed during the course of treatment saying she needed a tooth extraction, which made no sense to me. I only became aware of this change today. If this was the plan, it should have been communicated to me during my visit last week before any decisions were made. Unfortunately, I had to return to this office because this is where her previous dental work was done, and other providers would not treat her without requiring an out-of-pocket payment. Based on my experience, I will not be returning to this dental office in the future. I would encourage others to carefully consider their options before scheduling treatment here.

This was hands-down the worst dental experience of my entire life. The Hispanic nurse with the dyed hair and black glasses acted like she hated her job, rolled her eyes at every question I asked, spoke to me like I was wasting her precious time, and was being completely racist!!!! Any time I told her that I felt discomfort she yelled at me to just โ€œman upโ€ and threatened to restart the whole process. When I left I felt more stressed than when i walked in and tbh Iโ€™d rather let my teeth rot than go there ever again.

I was very nervous to have my 4 wisdom teeth removed, the people there were so patient and compassionate ๐Ÿ‘ I'm on day 4 of recovery with minimal swelling and pain ๐Ÿ™‚

Took my 3 yr old who was super nervous and scared. They were very patient with her and made her feel really at ease. Loved the staff for going out of their way to put a smile on my kids face.

Never had my appointment with OS; just a simple X-Ray done and out the door I was--with 3 wisdom teeth needed to be extracted and swollen. Moral of this story: do not visit this practice for oral surgery; I had numerous occasions, over the phone and in person, where I had to reschedule appointments over the course of two months due to the OS's availability. I am now in the process of transferring my case to another practice due to lack of communication between patient, staff, and the OS. Numerous times I asked for information about the dentist, who visits each month, but on one, only day of the month for his patients. Never, not even once was I given his name, his direct line for pain management, or his availability for following months. Bad experience, obviously. I urge those those who are looking for oral surgery should seek other places besides Dental Specialty Care. I would not suggest this practice for those seeking dental treatment besides those who have children--they have good reviews for the kiddos--but this practice needs to reevaluate oral surgery schedules for adults, too, because this is one of the few practices that is covered by Denti-Cal who provide OS.
