I had a great experience at LensCrafters. The lady who helped me was very nice and made the whole process easy and stress free. Getting new frames for twenty five dollars with my insurance from last year was smooth and effective, with no issues at all. Everything was explained clearly and I felt well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this location.

I visited the LensCrafters store at 63 Lakewood Center Mall because my insurance provider had no openings until the end of March. It was my first time getting an eye exam outside a medical building and through my healthcare insurance provider. Additionally, I purchased my frames online from LensCrafters, and some insurance plans that include optometry won't accept frames bought elsewhere. When I entered this LensCrafters location, all the staff were friendly and approachable. The two main associates who assisted me were very easy to work with and so helpful that they provided everything LensCrafters offers. I only remember the female associate named Theresa, and another is a male associate whose name I forgot; he is tall with braids.
Dr. Trinh N. Lien was assigned to be my optometrist. In the exam room, I felt very comfortable because of her gentle way of speaking to me. During the eye exams, I was not nervous at all, unlike many patients who might be afraid, thinking it’s like a school exam where they might answer wrong. But Dr. Lien made everything very easy, and her approachable personality encouraged me to ask all my questions, which were answered even before I asked, although I only had one: "Why did you choose optometry as part of your goal?” Dr. Lien was very honest, and we even connected, establishing a good provider-patient relationship. I am very satisfied with Dr. Lien and highly recommend her for a thorough eye check.
Most importantly, they prioritized patient care and customer service, along with the benefits LensCrafters offers. I work in the medical field, and at my workplace, we have our own optometry department where I am treated similarly; however, in a mall-based clinic, they definitely know how to treat patients, not just customers. Not only that, I observed that they all work together and help each other. The other associates also acknowledge my presence, and the two associates who assisted me did the same with other customers.
I apologize to all the employees at the LensCrafters store at 63 Lakewood Center Mall, but I want everyone to come here if you're looking for the best service in this specialty! I highly recommend this place and love it. I would even come here just to say hi if I were in the area; that’s how much the employees at this location made my first-time visit or shopping experience special. They went above and beyond to help me with everything. I might even choose LensCrafters again, despite paying more than my health provider, just for only $5 for the visit plus a discount on frames and lenses—that’s how satisfied I was. They all deserve a raise and better benefits, please!

Didn’t even try to help or offer any advice or options.. just told my Rx was too high to put in my Meta glasses.. I’m sure there were alternative solutions but she failed to provide any details and just gave me a blank stare.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
