- JSJoesie SNov 13, 20255.0Dr Schoenau has been our physician ( my husband and I) for 30 years. She gives exceptional care . She diagnosed my polyps when I was 39 years old. Early detection was key, thank you to her! We are saddened that she is retiring and will miss our visits for check up’s! Jim and I love you and wish you well. 🙏🏻❤️

She called the emergency room and provided the hospital with information which made everything run smoothly for me. I appreciate the care and fast action of Dr. Schoenau. Previously, i have had a colonoscopy and 10 years later an endoscopy with Dr. Schoenau which were easy, comfortable, and no complications. She reviewed my labs and explained them to me in depth. I highly recommend her for any GI issues or internal medicine questions.

She finished our first appointment stating she was going to call the radiologist that did my ultrasound. And she sent me for another blood test which came out normal..... I thought that was caring and proactive. It’s now 2 weeks later and nothing has happened... did she call? Did she call and speak to the radiologist?Couldn’t reach? What happened? When there is no plan to help you heal, or to have NO game plan, it’s time to move on.... which I did. Found another GI doctor who has a solid plan, more tests and communication..and seems to really want to help. Also have a timely follow up appointment... so I would say there are better doctors out there that will be concerned about your health.
