My journey towards normalcy in walking again is becoming a reality. This is due in large part to the physical therapy that I am receiving at Lafayette Physical Therapy. I recommend this team of caring experts to anyone who has a need for them.

The Traiiners are exceptional. They know just what to do to help with your problem. They are very personable and easy to work with.

Lafayette Physical Therapy [LPT]. JUST GO THERE ! I think this is the primo PT provider in the area. Doctors of Physical Therapy [DPTs] do the evaluations and develop an evolving treatment plan for patients. Patients work with DPTs and well as PT Techs, PT Aides and Reception Staff. Everyone is there to help you. LPT is clean, well lighted and full of all the equipment and services a PT practice should have. In addition, the folks who work there are terrific. They make sure you are well cared for and they are fun and pleasant to work with. They really want you to succeed. I am a repeat patient - for 2 different conditions. I can’t say enough about how much I like and respect LPT. When I was discharged recently, I was actually sad and tearful even though this stint helped me avoid surgery - for which I am very grateful.

I want to start by saying the physical therapists themselves were kind. Unfortunately, my overall experience with the office was very disappointing.
The front desk staff were consistently unprofessional and lacked basic customer service etiquette. Nearly every interaction focused on payment and fees before patient care, which made the office feel more transactional than patient-centered. I also noticed the entire office staff lacked diversity, and the tone from the front desk often felt dismissive and uncomfortable.
The most frustrating incident occurred when the front desk double-booked my appointment. I was called and warned about late fees even though my appointment was still 30 minutes away. After confirming the correct time from my appointment text, I was told I could not be seen even though the scheduling mistake was theirs. No apology was offered.
Another concern was how strictly limited the treatment time felt. Sessions seemed to end around 25–30 minutes, with little flexibility. In my experience with other PT offices, therapists often continue working with the patient or have them complete exercises after treatment rather than stopping abruptly at a set time.
When I emailed the owner about the situation the response focused on the need to pay employees rather than addressing the professionalism issue I raised.
Considering this clinic charges more than surrounding PT offices, I expected a higher level of professionalism and service. While I enjoyed the therapists, the front office experience was disappointing enough that I would not recommend this office.
