They are at once in the know, friendly, and generous with their time. I have a friend who fell recently. He's an older gentleman who lives alone. Since COVID 19 is keeping people away from doctors and hospitals unless for medical emergency, he phoned the pharmacy to tell of his condition and seek advice. One of the pharmacists gave him wise counsel and then, each day following, for a period of several days, called my friend to ask after his condition. This kindness of spirit literally brought tears to our eyes, tears of gratitude. This kind of personal service is, sadly, and for the most part, unheard of in 2020. But not so at Von's Pharmacy. Far from it.
