  Had a monthly subscription for 3-4 years. Classes, instructors and locations are great. I used the Pasadena and Torrance locations a few times which were also great. My problem is with corporate and their cancellation practices. I got a back injury that forced me to freeze membership for $15/month and then had to call and cancel. Found out that the “terms & conditions” I agreed to 3-4 years ago when joining requires membership to continue for 30 days after cancelling, which means I am paying over $160 for a month of yoga studio membership that I can’t use. Then after the call I get an email from a customer service rep telling me that CorePower offers to freeze my membership for 10 months and will waive the ‘freeze fee,’ but if I want to re-join after canceling then my monthly membership fee will go up to $200/month due to ‘current market conditions.’ All this feels like super slimy corporate greed, and even if I recover from this back injury I doubt that I will return to CorePower and will look elsewhere for a yoga studio. If you are considering a monthly subscription to CorePower, beware of their cancellation practices. If you are dead set on using CorePower then I suggest getting a large ‘block’ of classes to get your cost per class as low as possible and avoid this disappointing cancellation experience.

  I am new to CorePower. I tried the free week trial which was very helpful for figuring out which classes and instructors were best suited for me. I have since become a member and have almost completed my first month. I attend Yoga Sculpt and C2 classes several times a week and I am now hooked. I look forward to class and feel great after every workout. Unfortunately some of the classes have been inconsistent with different instructors subbing and even had one cancelled on me so I am hoping for more consistency in that aspect. Shoutout to Lusin Y. Her class is my absolute favorite! I love her fun vibe and she is very sweet and genuine. I am hoping they make her the regular instructor. The facilities are decently clean. There has been a recent improvement in the smell upon entering. Thankfully the studios themselves did not smell and appear to be cleaned in between classes. I look forward to continuing my practice there.
