- JHJerry HolzingerSep 30, 20253.0First let me say that the optometrist is is great. She's patient, she's thorough, and she's professional. The customer service issues start when you talk to the receptionist. I bought two pairs of glasses there one regular and one sunglasses. I called several times to check on the status of the sunglasses and got different answers every time I called. Even when I showed the girl at the desk the texts that I had received she made up all kinds of stories about what they meant. She is belittling and arrogant. After I received my regular glasses I noticed when cleaning them that they creaked. So last week I took them in and showed them to the receptionist, and she said that was normal and it's just the way the lenses are sitting in the frames. I showed her that my sunglasses that were in the same model frames didn't do that. I asked to have the optometrist look at them and she said no she doesn't put them together so she wouldn't know. I don't think the receptionist is a technician either and yet she came up with some ridiculous answers. Bottom line I was just blown off as if I were making something up. My suggestion is to keep the optometrist because she's fantastic and hire a receptionist who cares about the client. A lot of businesses use the mantra that the client is always right. I think this receptionist would argue with that.
