This year my main fitness goal was to find a gym that truly aligned with my lifestyle and checked most, if not all, of the boxes — and UFC Gym absolutely delivered. In fact, it delivered so well that I left a luxury gym to join here.
I joined right around the time this location transitioned to being fully 24 hours, which was a huge plus for me. I’m an early-morning person (2–3 AM workouts/ 7 days), and I’m starting my day, not ending my night — so having full access at any hour is everything. Coming from Newport Beach, it’s a quick, easy drive and parking with validation is super convenient.
The facility itself is impressive. They literally have everything: boxing bags, mats, a full combat sports ring (used for boxing/Muay Thai/jiu-jitsu), tons of strength and cardio equipment, Jacob’s Ladder, two full fitness floors, an indoor track upstairs, group fitness classrooms, yoga, an elevator, and even merch.
What really mattered to me is that I didn’t want to lose the recovery and wellness amenities I had at a luxury gym — and I didn’t. UFC Gym ALSO offers leg compression, cryotherapy , massage chairs, and recovery tools, which was a must for me.
They also have a protein smoothie bar, plus snacks and drinks available, which honestly rivals what I had at higher-end gyms. The operating hours are great, the class offerings are solid, and I love that I have access to on-demand workout videos as well.
The staff has been amazing. The front desk team I usually see during my hours — especially Ethan and Richard — are always welcoming, professional, and helpful. Another thing I really appreciate is that the front desk staff is actually present and visible — which is rare at most gyms — they’re always at the front, attentive, and available to help.
One standout feature is their texting system. Communication is fast. When I wanted to upgrade my membership, I literally just sent a text and it was handled immediately. I joined at a lower tier and upgraded before my first month was even due — that’s how much I liked it.
Full transparency: like any gym, there are areas that can improve — particularly in the women’s locker room when it comes to cleanliness. But I also come from a background in health and fitness and have worked in gyms as a front desk manager/supervisor, so I understand the operational side, staffing challenges, and what it takes to run a 24-hour facility. The important part for me is that management is aware, receptive, and communicates without being defensive — which speaks volumes.
Overall, UFC Gym offers incredible value, amenities, and accessibility. I even have guest privileges, which is great when my son or friends want to join me. For someone to leave a luxury gym like Equinox or Life Time and feel like they’re not sacrificing anything — that says a lot.
UFC Gym genuinely fits my lifestyle, my training style, and my schedule. It’s functional, motivating, well-equipped, and constantly evolving. Highly recommend.
