Due to severe animal sensitivities and allergies, I immediately reported this to the front desk, expressing my concern about allergies in the facility. I then returned to the locker room to retrieve my belongings. Before leaving the facility, I asked the front desk staff if the patron was still present, as I wished to return and finish my massage. The staff member informed me that the patron was "packing up and leaving." Trusting this information, I return to the waiting area in front of the front desk. After waiting for approximately five minutes, I again to confirm that the patron had left. At this point, I was told that the animal was a service animal and the patron was finishing their session, and therefore nothing could be done. I don’t appreciate being lied to by the staff when they could’ve been upfront from the start.
