I would rate this experience very poorly if that were an option. The staff member on duty was unhelpful and dismissive when my mother had difficulty signing in. Rather than offering assistance, she was told to leave if she could not complete the process on her own.
Given that my mother is ill and simply needed some basic guidance, this lack of support was both disappointing and concerning. I would expect staff to be willing and able to assist patients with the check-in process. The behavior she encountered was unprofessional and did not reflect an appropriate standard of care.

Isabel helped me get my blood drawn. She was great and fast! Normally people have trouble finding a vein for me, but she got it right away first try.
From the reports, one analysis was not performed because the correct specimen tube was not received.
1. Missing Tube → Missing Test
The report states:
CBC (Complete Blood Count) — Test Not Performed
Reason: “No lavender-top tube received.”
labreport (1)
Lavender-top tube contains EDTA and is required for hematology testing.
Typical tests that require this tube include:
CBC (complete blood count)
Differential leukocyte count
Platelet count
Hemoglobin / hematocrit
RBC indices (MCV, MCH, RDW)
Because the tube was missing, none of these parameters were measured.
Why this is clinically important here
This CBC is particularly important in this patient because:
Vitamin B12 is low (170 pg/mL)
labreport (1)
B12 deficiency often causes:
macrocytic anemia
elevated MCV
reduced hemoglobin
At age 81, anemia screening is clinically relevant.
Without CBC we cannot determine:
presence of anemia
macrocytosis
infection or inflammation
platelet abnormalities

Do not come here without an appointment. They are extremely slow and you won’t be seen quickly. Just go to LabCorp for walk-in. The phlebotomists take forever to see a patient, and after the rare exceptions they will not call the next patient until the time is right.
