  The female manager, Yindira, verbally assaulted and harassed me due to my religion, Christianity, saying things like “your religion means nothing”, and “don’t bring your Bible in here.” She also told me I was not allowed to talk to other members. I was a member for years before she ever started working there. Recently, I asked another member if they were done with a machine so I could clean and use it. The manager then accused me of harassment, refusing to listen to anything I said nor explain what she thought had happened, she called the police, threatened me and cancelled my membership. She also hired front desk workers who do not even speak English and blamed me saying I started problems when my electric bike was stolen on camera. She seems to have personal vendettas against certain people due to race, gender and/or religion. Other members I knew asked why she would walk around the gym glaring at me while I was working out or minding my business. She should not be working there. There are other positions for such hateful individuals. She kept bragging about being a manager at a bank previously. Now, I understand why the bank fired her.

  While the facility itself is well-maintained and clean, I have encountered serious problems with client care and the management team. After raising a concern regarding harassment from a night shift employee who identifies as “Paco,” my experience at the gym has become increasingly uncomfortable. Unfortunately, when I brought this matter to the attention of Manager Yadira, my concern was disregarded, and no meaningful action was taken to address or resolve the issue. This behavior is unacceptable in a professional and public environment. I expect all members to be treated with respect and dignity.

  I usually enjoy coming to Planet Fitness, but I was absolutely disgusted by the condition of the women’s showers. The shower curtain has a thick, nasty buildup of funk and mold growing all over the back. Every time you shower you have to look at it, and it’s almost impossible not to accidentally touch it while washing or just opening and closing the curtain. It’s gross and honestly makes you not even want to use the showers. This isn’t something that can just be “cleaned” — it will keep coming back. The curtains need to be replaced with new ones. Mold and bacteria like this are a serious health hazard, and I truly hope no one gets sick from using these facilities. I’ve attached a photo so management can see exactly what I mean. This is unacceptable for a gym that so many people rely on daily.

  I’ve been a loyal member at Planet Fitness and have always appreciated the clean facility, friendly staff, and affordable pricing. But this summer has been really frustrating due to the high school summer promotion. I completely understand the idea behind letting teens work out for free it’s a positive step toward encouraging healthy habits at a young age. However, it’s become a serious inconvenience for paying members. The gym is often overcrowded, with large groups of high schoolers hanging around machines, talking, and not actually using the equipment. It makes it hard to get a proper workout, especially during peak times. As someone who works for the school district and has summers off, I was really looking forward to using the gym more during the day. But with how packed it’s been, I ended up having to get a separate gym membership just for the summer. What’s most frustrating is that these teens are often unsupervised. I strongly believe they should be required to come with a parent or responsible adult. That way, there’s at least some accountability and structure, and it could help keep the gym environment respectful and focused. I hope Planet Fitness reconsiders how this program is run in the future. It’s a generous offer, but it shouldn’t come at the expense of the experience for paying members
