It’s my first class here through ClassPass. The class starts at 12 and I arrived at 11:51 and found the door was already locked. I called their service center and learned that they could not let me in as the class was already started. That was 11:53 when my call was transferred to a real human. I have to leave and will not return.

I’ve been a CorePower member since 2017 and have taken classes at various locations across Berkeley, Rockridge, Oakland, and San Francisco — and I have to say, the Emeryville studio is one of the most well-run in the East Bay, if not the entire Bay Area.
The management does an excellent job creating an inclusive, welcoming environment, and I really appreciate the wide variety of classes offered. There’s something for everyone here. Special shoutout to Nate, Deshauna, and Dyamen — they’ve been my favorite instructors so far, consistently bringing great energy and thoughtful guidance to every class.
A big bonus: parking is super easy and accessible, which is a rarity around here.
As for the showers — while they are shared (and I do wish there were separate men’s and women’s facilities, especially after big classes when it can feel a bit crowded), I still love the setup. The layout feels modern and even a little luxurious, with high-quality amenities like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. And the bathrooms are always spotless, which I really appreciate.
Lastly, I saw a complaint about not being let in after arriving 10 minutes late — and I just want to say, anyone who’s practiced yoga regularly knows how disruptive that is to the class. If you’re signing up for a class, especially at a studio as well-run as this one, arriving on time (or ideally early) is just basic respect for the instructor and fellow students.
All in all, this is a fantastic studio that reflects the best of what CorePower has to offer.

Came for my first time for the 10 am class and was a minute late. Waited outside for 10 minutes before the instructor finally came over and told me that the warm up was finished so I couldn’t join. I literally had my own mat already. I joined the class with classpass and didn’t get any email that I needed to join before the warmup. Instructor was extremely rude after I have already paid for the class. Will be calling back to get refunded

Paxytn is a congenial, in-the-flow instructor. Her beats are uplifting especially Bil Wither's "Lovely Day" at the end of Friday's class, a lovely wind-down song as the sun's beams dappled the studio.
