Three stars because a mixed bag. First visit where I brought my prescription, selected frames, etc. was fine. Today I went to pick up the three pairs of glasses I purchased, a total of about $900. When I got home and tried my new back up glasses on they are clearly not the correct prescription. As someone who is legally blind without specs, this is not okay. I called to set up a visit to have this dealt with. An hour before closing time, but no answer or way to leave a message. Very disappointing. I will head over there tomorrow and hopefully get things straightened out.

I was a little concerned about how much I would be spending by the time I was done with my exam. Insurance is a little confusing to me. The great staff at this Lens Crafters help me every step of the way. From the insurance and what different tests cost to choosing the perfect pair of glasses. Extremely knowledgeable in their field. I will be using this location from now on.

I had a great experience with my eye appointment. The staff was really helpful, and their patient demeanor was excellent. The service was efficient, the exam procedures were done with utmost professionalism, and every step was explained as I went through the process. The doctor was the consummate professional, explained all medical issues with care and concern, and offered health recommendations when asked, sharing helpful solutions for my vision issues. He was very patient, with a quiet, professional demeanor. I was able to work with the staff to make my glasses selection, and my order was processed with great efficiency. Thank you, LensCrafters, for the wonderful eye care experience. I look forward to doing continued business with you and sharing my experience with friends and family.

I recently visited LensCrafters and had a very disappointing experience. From the moment we walked in, the customer service felt dismissive and unprofessional. It honestly seemed like we were more of an inconvenience than paying customers.
We had several questions about our vision insurance and what would be covered, but the staff was not helpful at all. They avoided giving clear answers and wouldn’t provide straightforward pricing, which made the entire process frustrating and confusing.
What stood out the most was the lack of attention and urgency. Employees appeared more focused on their iced coffees and snacks than assisting customers. It gave the impression that helping us was not a priority, which is unacceptable in a customer-facing business.
We left feeling ignored, uninformed, and uncomfortable. A little professionalism, clear communication, and basic courtesy would have made a huge difference. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes improvements.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
