The people in the deli department is so slow and the food never looks fresh. I love Safeway, but this particular one need to step up their service. Every Friday they have a deal, therefore it should be more people in the deli available to help.

Haven't filled there in at least 17 years, but Jim was the best. Also his rx tech was a riot! I'm sure staff has changed over the years.

Yes, I sadly have to agree with the other posters. This Safeway Pharmacy is not timely with prescriptions. They are better if we give them a day or two to fill them. Also, it's best to call first to verify that the prescription is ready. If you're old and/or disabled, picking up prescriptions is somewhat of a hardship because you must walk across the entire store to the back wall area, just to discover your prescription isn't ready! You either have to wait —and the pharmacy has no chairs for people to sit— or leave and come back another time. My experience has been somewhat frustrating. August 15, 2020 — Update I raised this Pharmacy’s rating from 1 star to 4. Over time, the Pharmacy’s customer service has become much less frustrating now that they are more familiar with me, my medications and payment method. The pharmacist’s assistant, who gives me my medications, is dedicating more friendly effort and patience when dealing with me. I still call first to ensure my medications are ready for pickup. There has been a demonstrable improvement in customer management and servicing. A big Thank You!!
