INSANELY expensive (they charged 900 for a 15 minute visit) and then gave meds that didn’t work, other urgent cares are not as expensive

The insurance specialist I spoke with on the phone was extremely rude and unprofessional and should not be representing UCLA Health. This conduct falls far below the standards of the organization and damages its reputation.

Beware! Deceptive billing practices at the UCLA Health location in Culver City. I visited in December and met with Dr. Long for an annual physical which was to be covered my insurance. The entire conversation with the doctor was no more than 15 minutes. To my surprise, I was billed for over $300 for an added "office visit" because the conversation included "recommendations" despite the fact I never consented to anything more than a physical nor was I told of any additional services during or after my appointment. I tried for two weeks to get a clear understanding on what I was billed for and how to appeal and never received an adequate response from the physician billing office. All I received was a generic message posted to their web portal. Sadly, I'm only now discovering through many reviews that the unethical billing for phantom services is not uncommon among patients. I regret that I decided to visit this location.

Overpriced. You can’t get a solid answer on how much you will be billed until it’s too late. Billing services not helpful

Visiting this clinic to see Dr. Chin has been the worst experience ever in my life. In Dr Madan’s absence, mistakenly I accept to see Dr Chin in for a yearly checkup .
This so called Doctor did not know how to do a Pap smear. Per his own words he had not done one at UCLA, tha nurse chaperoning had to explained to him how to do it. Not only did he hurt me but did not even check the ovaries. TOTAL mistake accepting to see him.. not sure how is that UCLA has this doctor in its staff.
My mistake accepting to see him, in my over 20 + years of seeing various doctors at this institution I NEVER felt so helpless and mad for the awful service received.
