I had an amazing experience at LensCrafters, all thanks to Tomiris! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel welcome and completely at ease. She has a fantastic eye for style and helped me pick out the perfect frames that actually suit my face shape. Tomiris is so patient, kind, and genuine it felt like shopping with a friend who happens to be an expert. If you’re going to this location, definitely ask for her! She is the best!

Please avoid this Lenscrafter location! I'm not sure why Macy's is allowing this company to taint their reputation by doing business with them. The worst experience that I've encountered, so bad that I will be reaching out to to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and also seek legal action if any ADA laws were violated due to their failure in service.
From the beginning, I was more than happy to spend big bucks in upgrading my current Eyewear and updating my prescription. I was informed that initially my glasses would take 7-10 business days. I am here to this day still waiting to receive my prescription glasses. Lemscrafters never contacted me for the status of my order, I always had to call. I was always never informed of an ACTIAL DATE. Glasses were ordered on December 13 and they been on "back order". That's the same excuse I keep getting from a "Rita". When I was finally given a date for pick up, apparently my glasses did not pass an inspection at the store and they needed to be sent back and re-ordered. I was informed of this upon arrival, their excuse was, "someone should have called you". I drove over 30 miles in traffic just to be let down once again. And Rita tells me that all she can offer is a measly $50 for my wasted time. When I asked for the contact information for Corporate, so that i can get the ball rolling on my order, I was denied that information. What I find amusing is that since my first order at this location, I've walked in to 2 other Lenscrafter locations. Purchased 4 additional glasses. I even took a pair that I purchased from Sunglass Hut for Lenscrafters to install my prescription lenses. All those I've received in less time than I was told and still have not received my first order from here!!
I'm not looking for a handout nor am I looking for special treatment. I am looking to be to be compensated for my wasted time and the false hopes that were given.
And now I wait to hear from their automated company reply....
Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters at Macy's
How do I know if my child needs glasses?
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
