  I had a minor medical situation that needed urgent care. This place was excellent. Rajdeep Basran was amazing. She was quick and very pleasant to deal with. This place runs like clockwork. The system is designed to get you in an out quickly. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Pro tip: Do all the paperwork online before you go. It was painless. Thank you!

  So I called in to see if they had Xray services on site. First I was put on hold 5min because she needed to find out if they did. So maybe the persons answering the phone should know the things that you provide. I was told that the Xray tech was not in so they did not know if services available. She told me they could refer me out if I needed an Xray. I said so the Xray Tech is not there so you don't know if you will have xrays today and no one there can answer the question? Yes she said. Is there anyone there who knows his schedule? No there is no one here who know she told me. So you can refer me out if needed then I will have to come back to you to have it read and treated. Yes... Hmm I might as well go to ER. She said yes probably we can't help you. GenX or Gen Y on phone completely clueless about customer service. Attitude is I get paid the same no matter how I speak with you on phone. Invest in AI phone system response you would be better off.

  If you value your health and your time, I would strongly recommend choosing a different urgent care than Premium Urgent Care. For context, I’ve worked in customer service and currently work in the medical field. I typically don’t mention this when visiting healthcare facilities because I want to see how a practice treats everyday patients. Unfortunately, the experience my wife and I had here was extremely disappointing. We were only visiting the area temporarily for work, so instead of going to our normal primary care doctor we relied on this urgent care for testing and follow-up. My wife had important testing done and was told she would receive a call within one week with her results. Two weeks passed with no communication, and when we finally called, we were told the results were at another office. After being sent back and forth between offices, we eventually learned the results had been lost entirely. A few months later I unknowingly went to the same location (Premium Urgent Care off Herndon in Clovis) for testing. I was again told I would receive a call within a week with my results. After two weeks passed with no communication, I had to call them myself. I was told the doctor would call me “shortly.” Six hours passed and I never received a call. When I called again just before closing, the same staff member acted as if we had never spoken earlier that day and told me to call back tomorrow because they were closing. Another major issue is the attitude of the front desk staff. Each time I called, the tone was irritated and dismissive, as if asking about my own medical results was an inconvenience. Patients have every right to ask questions about their care, and basic communication should not feel like a burden. The most concerning part was learning that I had supposedly been prescribed antibiotics, yet no one ever told me a prescription had been sent to my pharmacy. When I later followed up, the staff member said, “I see you’ve finished your antibiotics.” I had to explain that I was never told they were prescribed. Because of this lack of communication, I went two weeks with an infection that could have been treated much sooner. I rarely leave negative reviews, but the lack of communication, organization, and professionalism here is concerning for a medical facility. Based on our experience, I would strongly recommend considering other urgent care options in the area.
