Went in to see two styles of frames. They didn’t have the color I was looking for, but also didn’t offer any way to order to view besides just the online view. I walked in and nobody asked me if I needed anything until I was already about to leave 15-20 mins later. Staff didn’t feel too friendly and then they seemed bothered that I wasn’t interested in another set of glasses.

My contact lenses were shipped to the wrong location, and I had to call back to have this corrected. After speaking with the store, they re-shipped the contacts, but the issue should not have happened in the first place. I am going a week now without contacts to see. Overall, this was a poor customer service experience. I will not be returning and do not recommend using your benefits or services at this location.

Mario Gonzalez assisted me and was very helpful throughout this process. He made sure my questions were answered while I was choosing my frame and gave me some good insight before making my selection. Lens Crafters Otay Ranch Mall Chula Vista is exceptional.

Frequently Asked Questions About LensCrafters

How do I know if my child needs glasses?

Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.

Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?

A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
