I'm so grateful to Dr. ABRAHAM for his incredible effort and patience. He made every effort to save and fix my teeth rather than suggesting quick solutions, which I truly appreciated. His patience and dedication really stood out. He took the time to explain every detail of the procedure and answered all my questions clearly, which made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the treatment.

I went here for a few years an really liked them. Recently, however, they did something that completely turned me off and made me find another dentist. I got an x-ray and it showed that I had a deep cavity in one of my molars. The dentist told me that he would try to do just a filling but that because the decay extended pretty close to the root it might end up having to be a root canal. The woman at the front desk checked my insurance and told me that a root canal would be covered but that my insurance only covered metal crowns, which they were not able to do so if I did end up having to get a root canal I would have to pay for the crown out of pocket and it would be $1500. She asked if I would like them to submit to my insurance for approval for the root canal in case it was necessary and I said yes. Fast forward to a couple weeks later, I get a call from the dentist office telling me that they got the approval for my root canal and asking me to call back to make an appointment. In the meantime I had called my insurance to try to appeal and get the crown covered and my insurance informed me that what the woman at the dentist office told me was completely false, that all types of crowns are covered, and they just needed to submit for approval. I called the office to make an appointment and also let them know that the crown was covered and ask them to submit for it. When I spoke to the woman on the phone she was immediately trying to schedule me for a root canal and when I reminded her that the doctor said he would initially try to do a filling and only do the root canal if necessary she denied that and tried to claim that she was "in the room and remembered what the doctor said", which is absurd because I know what the doctor told me. She also claimed that I was having pain in that tooth, which is not true, I never had any pain, and still don't to this day. I told her she was wrong and she said she would speak to the doctor and get back to me. I also asked her to please make sure to have someone submit for the approval for the crown. She got back to me and said the doctor said it would have to be a root canal, with no explanation as to why he changed his story all of a sudden. She also said he suggested I go to an endodontist if I wanted a second opinion, and sent me a referral. She did not confirm if anyone had submitted to my insurance for the crown. I spoke to the endodontist and made an appointment to have them look at the tooth, but the root canal wouldn't be fully covered by my insurance if I had it done there, so I still planned to go back to my dentist to have it done. The endodontist also doesn't do crowns, so I would need to go to my dentist for that anyway. I called my dentist back and told them this and asked them to please confirm that someone had submitted for the crown. She seemed reluctant about me getting the root canal there and tried to push me to have it done at the endodontist. I explained the situation and she said she'd talk to the doctor and get back to me. She also had no answer about the crown and said she'd talk to the person in charge of that and let me know. When she got back to me she STILL SAID NOTHING AT ALL ABOUT THE CROWN despite the fact that I had asked about it several times. She also told me that the doctor said he wouldn't be able to do my root canal because it was a molar and he didn’t have the proper tools, which is obviously a complete lie because he had no issue whatsoever with doing my root canal originally, had his office OBTAIN APPROVAL FROM MY INSURANCE and CALL ME TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT FOR A ROOT CANAL, but as soon as I express that I am upset at the fact that he's changing his story and not explaining why, SUDDENLY he can't do my root canal. REALLY??? This was WILDLY unprofessional and a completely unacceptable way for a doctor to behave. If you have an issue with me you can just let me know, you don't have to make up lies and then hide behind your hygienist/receptionist. This was truly childish and makes me question his honesty in general. I will not be back.
