The tree was set up and our customers were so excited and were heavily involved. Martin came frequently to pick up the gifts that were left in the box next to the tree. It was never overfilled and the customers really enjoyed it. If you are able I highly recommend working with Homestead as I truly feel they are passionate about their mission!

We are together a minimum of 12 hours a week, and she also adds hours as needed to adapt to my schedule. I enjoy her company, and we have interesting conversations. When she’s here she helps me down the stairs to get to the garage. I mostly drive my own car, and she can drive if necessary. She fills my gas tank and goes with me to my appointments. She removes my walker from the trunk, walks with me, and returns the walker after helping me back into the car. She helps with laundry, makes my lunches, washes my kitchen floor, washes dishes and throws out trash. She is respectful and accommodating to my needs.
