I love this place.
I feel like this location is a bit understaffed and overworked, leading to some bad reviews, but if you come in with an appointment the staff are very friendly and efficient. Yes, the doctors don't have time to comfort their patients or reassure them about every issue they have, but it feels like each Healthcare professional is helping several patients at once, and that's more a fault of our Healthcare system and not the doctors nor nurses.
Overall easy, fast, and covered everything I needed from a small clinic.
I may echo a previous review but I am so confused by the VERY negative ratings and comments about this location as I’ve never really had any negative experiences and when I have questions they are always answered via client portal (My chart) or by Dr.Beaty. I haven’t ever experienced super long wait times more than 15 or so minutes (their walk in lab is the fastest I’ve been to, in and out in less than 10 minutes usually for blood tests/labwork) and since I am chronically ill (Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia and several other genetic conditions) I am ALWAYS checking my portal and results which I usually get within a day or two!
In my experience Dr.Beaty always takes her time with patients as (not negative to be clear) she has actually delayed starting our appointment because she often talks thoroughly with each patient and runs over occasionally. Also all the nurses and staff I have met for vitals, injections, etc have been very understanding and kind, keeping friendly conversation and being very sweet when I explain my personal traumas with touch or when I request to be warned prior to injections so I can prepare to be touched.
Obviously everyone has different experiences and opinions but I feel the negative reviews are not a good representation of the general experience here (everyone has off days or misunderstandings of course) but it has never seemed ‘run down’ or anything like some people describe. Sure the rooms are sterile and kinda tight but… it’s a doctor’s office 😅 aren’t they all like that?
Agreeing with another person’s review:
PLEASE take the time to research your actual doctors and NOT just the location where they work. And don’t buy into the negativity—the world has enough of it already! (They said it very well) :)

To preface - I was raised by my paternal grandfather, my hero - who was a doctor. I’m not anti-doctor by any means, but in my adult life, I’ve learned that not all medical professionals choose their professions based on a genuine love for helping others, like he did. This has made it quite a challenge to find the right primary care physician for me. Well, I think I’ve finally found one in Dr. Alanna Chig! Yesterday I had an annual physical (which, admittedly I haven’t gone for in a few years 😬😬), and I left feeling so cared for and reassured. Dr. Chig genuinely listened to my concerns and explained things to me without me even asking. If I did ask anything, she answered without being dismissive or making me feel like I was bothering her. I didn’t have to ask her for blood work to be done or anything, she was the one who brought it up. She didn’t blame my period for everything (like lots of docs tend to with female patients). This was another green flag. And today, I’ve already received some the results in MyChart. Instead of dreading the next time I need to visit, I’m at ease knowing I’ll receive exceptional care. Thank you, Dr. Chig, more doctors should be like you!
This used to be a good facility. Now it is run- down, with surly people working there, times for a 15 minute or less rushed appointment common, primary physicians constantly leaving so you never have consistent care. UCLA is now truly sub par now for health care. Go to Cedars-Sinai or the westside UCLA for decent care.
