- SASammy-Lee AbelFeb 6, 20261.0The absolute worst Safeway and grocery store chain I’ve ever seen. I’ve been to the customer service counter multiple times over the past five years to try and get a rain check. Return something or ask a question. It has never taken me under 15 minutes standing at the service desk, waiting for someone to show up. The guy at the self checkout line is always awesome and in a great mood. The rest of the store is absolute trash. It’s dirty it smells. It’s dimly lit. They’re often out of the sale items. Keep in mind. I’m writing this all well standing in line waiting for somebody to answer my question. I can hear them counting change in the back room and refusing to come out and wait on me. Lol, I was just told that the customer service counter is closed which is sheer lunacy having a Store open in the customer service department closed 😂

I received the wrong order for my blood sugar testing supplies — they gave me items that were completely different from what my doctor prescribed, and the meter and strips didn’t even match. I came back the next morning to fix it, but even though the posted hours say they open at 9AM, nobody showed up by 10 am. Very unprofessional and a big inconvenience, especially for something as important as medical supplies.
