Services

Adult eye exams

We thoroughly examine your eyes to make sure they are healthy and we'll also be able to detect diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. That’s why it’s so important to have your eyes examined regularly.

Children’s eye care

Children’s eye tests are different from adult eye tests. However at Specsavers, your child’s eye care is just as important to us. Book your child’s eye test at Specsavers.

Contact Lens assessments

During your contact lens assessment your Optometrist will assess your suitability to use contact lenses and discuss the best product for you. We will help teach you how to use contact lenses and we recommend you allow about an hour in total when you visit. An up to date eye exam is required, if you haven't had an eye exam recently please book an eye test on the same day. If you already wear contact lenses, please wear your lenses and bring your current glasses to the appointment. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 15 or under.

3D scanning technology (OCT)

At Specsavers we include an advanced 3D eye scan as part of every standard comprehensive eye exam, at no extra charge. This helps our optometrists detect eye conditions earlier and makes our eye exam the most revealing eye exam yet.

While I've had eyeglasses for many years, I've used only online companies for convenience sake but have never been 100% happy with the product. I was drawn to Specsavers primarily because of the deal they offered. They have a great variety of frames and I was able to make my choice very quickly. MJ was the associate who assisted me with the fitting and claim processing/payment. She presented herself very professionally - both helpful and knowledgable but without the pressure to buy typical in other establishments I've been to. I will certainly purchase again from this company. The only negative is that I was told the 2 pairs of eyeglasses would be ready in 2 weeks (which is the standard time frame I'm assuming). While one was ready in about 10 days (which I have picked up), the 2nd pair is back-ordered and delayed beyond the 2 week window. This happens in this weird time we're living in so I can't really fault the company for circumstances beyond their control.

Wren helped me choose out my frame. She gave very knowledgeable insight on the pieces I picked and gave her expert opinion about the frame. Wren was very patient and efficient. All that while keeping a very friendly demanor and keeping the whole process fun. I would give more stars if I could.
