  I had a great experience at specsavers hillside. It was my first time visiting the store and the staff was really nice. Thanks a lot MJ for your great service and being patient enough to help me with the right choice of frames and glasses and answering my tonnes of questions. You were of a great help.

  I and my partner had a great experience at Specsavers in Hillside! The staff were professional, friendly, and very welcoming from the moment I walked in. Jane was especially amazing - so helpful, patient, and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. She took the time to answer all my questions and made choosing glasses easy and enjoyable. The service was excellent, and the selection of frames was fantastic. Highly recommend this location if you’re looking for quality eye care and outstanding customer service! Thank you again guys!   I went in not really knowing which type of frame would suit my face best, and one of the employees, Tabitha, was absolutely amazing. She was incredibly helpful, funny, kind, and extremely patient throughout the whole experience. She was also very knowledgeable about the different lenses and frames. What really stood out to me was how she explained polarized sunglasses, she actually showed me real examples by letting me look through the lenses and comparing photos, which made it so much easier to understand the difference. She also noticed my autistic nephew was starting to look a little bored and made an effort to include him in conversation, which I really appreciated and thought was very thoughtful.

  SPECtacular! I have worked in customer service for my entire career. It appears that it lacks significantly, or is not existent these days. That is not the case at Specsavers. I am still in shock in which the level of care, kindness and compassion I was treated with, and their understanding of a very difficult situation. I am the only friend of an elderly man that is in the hospital. Due to his hard of hearing, a mishap with his latest pair of prescription glasses occurred ( NOT at Specsavers) they were tinted black instead of transitions and he couldn't wear them. While in the hospital due to lack of sight and hard of hearing he experienced sensory deprivation which led to Acute Hospital Delirium. Despite repeated requests the hospital denied him a sound amplifier, which by law he is entitled to. I sourced one out for him myself. Next step was to restore his sight. Specsavers to the rescue. Mikayla, is the consultant I spoke to, as well as was fortunate to meet with in person. She is informative, and very understanding of the situation at hand. Not to mention the urgency. She involved Krista, who is the store manager *possible owner* I was offered 3 very generous and fabulous options. The majority of the cost Specsavers graciously covered. The ridiculously minimal amount I paid was peanuts. Not only that, upon his release from hospital. He will receive a new eye test and they have offered to extend their help with a more permanent suitable pair...with transitions. Kindness and consideration of your fellow human still exists. It may be rare. But it certainly exists. And you will find it in abundance at Specsavers Hillside. My heartfelt thanks and appreciation. You helped ease an already difficult and stressful situation. Thank you Mikayla, you were patient, extremely helpful and kind. Thank you Krista for being a Godsend and making it all happen and the offer of future assistance. These ladies... ABSOLUTE ANGEL'S!❤️

  Micayla at Hillside went above and beyond in helping me with my order. Honestly, if you see her working, it’s worth the wait for her to become available. Her customer service is fantastic.
