Got my new RayBan Meta from LensCrafters and customer service from Madhav was exceptional. He processed our order super fast and had excellent knowledge about his work.

Service has gone down significantly over the years.
Thought I was done dealing with them after I eventually got a refund, but my insurance provider has still not received anything after over a month.
Ordered glasses in May, told 2 weeks wait time, waited almost 4. Found out they used a prescription from 3 years ago instead of a new one. Had to do a reorder, waited another 3 weeks only for them to have the lens and no frames. Was given a refund directly back to my insurance providers, but they have not seen the money after a month.
Emailing directly to customer service has been absolutely useless. It's too bad Luxottica owns all the popular glasses brands and optical shops.

I had an excellent experience at LensCrafters in Mayfair Mall. I stopped in to see if they could repair my husband’s sunglasses, and Kunal was extremely friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. He fixed the sunglasses for me on the spot and didn’t charge me anything.
I really appreciated his kindness and excellent customer service. Kunal went above and beyond to help me, and I truly appreciate it. I highly recommend the LensCrafters at Mayfair Mall and will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, my experience with the customer service from Lenscrafter Mayfair Mall was very disappointing. The staff were not very helpful or responsive, and I felt that my concerns were not taken seriously. I expected better communication.
I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the customer service experience for future customers.
Situation:
Picked up the new eyeglasses that was delivered to the Mayfair location, lens has scratches so we asked them to replace it. Female associate told us they will send an email once they receive the replacement. We haven’t heard from them x 3 weeks. No email or notice to follow up. We called the location. Phone rings for good 30 mins no one is answering for 30 mins.
Find out after from one of the associates that they cancelled the order for some reason. No reason has been provided to us. Now they said we have to drop off the eyeglasses again so they will send it back to the Vancouver Lenscrafter location to their lab then we will have to wait for another 2 weeks or so. It is not a prescription glass, it is just a normal sunglasses that doesnt need any prescription. Staff takes so much time looking for orders. Disorganized and time consumming process compare to other location. Very inconvenient service compare to other locations.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
