  First, thanks to the Home Instead team, from Harpreet to Stephanie and staff coming to my place, everybody are nice, friendly and professional. Thus, I didn't worry about anything when I was away. Special thanks to Safi who is so much patient with my husband, a senior with parkinson's and lots of pain. Thanks again for everybody and everything you guys did. If anyone ls looking for home help, the Home Instead (south Vancouver) will be highly and only recommended.

  For the past few months, our mother has received assistance with her personal care and activities by C and A of HomeInstead.  Mom was initially reluctant to accept help, feeling that she was completely capable; however recent deterioration in her cognitive function meant that she was not attending to regular personal hygiene, nor was she participating in some of the social and physical activities that she had regularly enjoyed.  C and A both brought a gentle, positive and encouraging approach to mom's care which won her over immediately.  The extra time taken to style her hair and assist with medications was appreciated.  Whenever scheduling challenges appeared, B was quick to communicate and resolve any issues. We would highly recommend HomeInstead for any future assistance with care of your family members, whether in their own homes or independent living residences.

  The Home Instead team is amazing. I recommend them 100%. The help we received for my father who is dealing with dementia has been superb. Right from the start it clearly showed that the Home Instead team knew what they were doing. The caregivers that Harpreet selected for my dad are all so caring and friendly, Pradip in particular, who shows up with such kindness and patience every visit. It’s greatly improved my father’s life!

  Home Instead, South Vancouver Office, provided exceptional 24-hour care for my stepmom. The office staff were excellent communicators, responsive to our requests and proactive in identifying whatever my stepmom required. The caregivers were warm, respectful and highly competent in attending to both her medical and social needs. It was a great relief to have such an outstanding team support us in caregiving.

  Home Instead has been looking after my mom for about 7 months now. The care she has received has been excellent, she has Dementia and was very resistant to having any servicies in her home . This company has been so kind and has gone above and beyond ( really above and beyond ) to make my mom comfortable, what ever her needs are they have been adjusted for my mom specifically . I have had some requests that I wanted for her, especially some one to eat with her since she will not eat alone. All of her caregivers have been doing this so my mom has been eating so much better, getting better food and they make sure she is drinking more water since that is a big problem. Home Instead has taken over her medication dispensing as well. This has been such a relief, I know that they have ongoing communication with the doctor and I do not have to worry about the consistancy of dispensing times as I had worried about in the past. The communication with the owner Harprett Singh is ongoing, I never have to call the office and ask for a updated report, he or his manager keep me informed on everything. My mom now has 24 hour care which our family is so glad of. I can call anytime of the day or night and talk to one of her care providers. They are all so kind and sweet to her and she does tell me she really likes them all. She will tell me that they will sit and talk with her which she really enjoys. There is so many great qualities about this company , she never misses appt's and they will take her anywhere she wants to go. Her daytime provider is amazing and will encourage my mom to sit outside and have her coffee in the morning so that she gets fresh air. Thank you to Home Instead for the honesty and compassion that they provide. Our family has had great concerns prior about financial honesty and proper personnal care for my mom with a care type person in the past and now we have no worries with Home Instead at all. It is really a terrible worry for the family when you live out of town and the person you thought was doing a good job is actually not and is doing really bad things behind your back. So when I say our minds are at ease with Home Instead we really mean it. Thank you Lovie Whitt
