  I honestly can’t say enough good things about my experience here, especially with my trainer, Adriana! 💜💜💜 Adriana has been such an amazing trainer and such a genuinely kind person. She always pushes me to work toward my goals, but she does it in a way that makes me feel supported and comfortable. As someone who had never really gone to the gym before, I was honestly pretty nervous and intimidated by the idea of starting. Adriana has completely changed that for me. She makes the gym feel welcoming and has helped me feel so much less afraid of being there. And honestly, every session feels like a little girls’ day 😂 We work out, and somehow still manage to catch up about life and everything in between. It makes the sessions something I actually look forward to, instead of something I have to force myself to do. She’s not only a great trainer, but someone I genuinely appreciate and love having around. If I could give her 100 stars, I absolutely would. ⭐️x100. Also, a huge shoutout to Dominic, the fitness manager! He and Adriana went above and beyond when I got a little dizzy during one of my sessions (totally my fault 😅). They immediately took care of me and made sure I was okay. And the protein shake and protein bar were SO appreciated!!! 🥹👉👈 The staff here are also super nice and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Overall, I’m so glad I decided to give the gym a try. I’m really grateful for Adriana, Dominic, and everyone here! ❤️

  Have been a member the last year, paid my yearly sign up fee and my monthly payments and today was told I had to pay a yearly fee again. I requested to cancel my membership and the girl (new girl) behind the counter immediately threatened to get debt collectors involved for a 60 dollar fee, great customer service. You would think after a year of membership that they would try and retain loyal customers. The gym etiquette in this fitness world is awful and maybe this interaction was the push i needed to go elsewhere. Will not be returning to fitness world and i would not recommend. This gym seems to want to up sale rubbish to customers.

  **Make sure you memorize the agreement from when you sign your contract otherwise DANI VICTORY THE MANAGER WILL CALL YOU STUPID!** My experience at Fitness world has been amazing for the past 7 years especially at Surrey location. I recently went to downtown location to ask of why do I get charge $62.99? The gentleman told me that it’s annual fee which they charge every year after 2 months of sign up. When we look at my account, my year membership has com to an end 2 days before I got charge but I also wanted to cancel. We agree to get his one of 2 managers contact me back to see what they can do for me.. then I have Dani Victory (Daniela Alejandra Quiroga Torres) who is a manager at the gym call me and the way she explained to me is that they have stated on the contract that after a year of membership ended it will be month to month contract plus annual fee. The fact that I didn’t even mad at $62.99 that they charge me but the way she explained to me pretty much tells me that I didn’t read my contract. I told her sorry I wouldn’t remember all the details after a year being with the gym for their new policy. Then she told me “IF I BUY SOMTHING TODAY I’LL MAKE SURE I REMEMBER ALL THE DETAILS”. So I simply told her “ GOOD FOR YOU!” Is this how you help the customer to understand your policy? Or you simply don’t want to do your diligence? I called a second time and ask for another manager to speak to, she told me that she is the only manager in that gym and if I want to send email to complain about her I will have to send her email and then she will pass on to her DM! I hope her DM read this email and contact me back. THIS IS FOR DANI : DANI, 7 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE DIDNT DO THE JUSTICE! YOU DO NOT HAVE A CUSTOMER SERVICE MIND OR HOSPITALITY IN THAT MATTER! YOU DIDN’T EVEN LISTEN TO WHAT CUSTOMER HAVE TO SAY! YOU WANT TO WIN AN ARGUMENT! YOU KEEP INTERRUPTING MY SENTENCE AND ESCALATE THE SITUATION RATHER FINDING A SOLUTION! LEARN SOME LEADERSHIP SKILL GIRL!

  The best gym in Canada by far🏆 I came from another location in Vancouver and since the first day, the recepcionists explained me the billing details because I was concerned about payments charged from the other location so I remained clear and calm with their support. Their biggest strength is the human side of all the team members. From a big smile reception that can change your mood in a good way, to a personalized training to squeeze your muscles out of you. Personally, I was dealing with a few injuries and they always help me going through that with the best disposition and quality💪 In terms of infraestructure, it's super complete for any goals: cardio, weight or even basic conditioning. Thanks to Dom, Alejandra, Laurein, Adriana, Martín, Saba Chris, Danny, Seba and all the team members for such a good profesionalism and enviroment. Keep it up💯

  The facility itself was fine, but I did not have a great experience with the administrative side and found it difficult to work with on numerous occasions. When I joined, my signup information was recorded incorrectly at the front desk, which meant I couldn’t access the Fitness World app. I contacted staff multiple times over several weeks with no resolution. Eventually I had to reach out to the app developer directly to get it escalated and fixed. I also felt like when I first joined the gym, the staff was quite pushy about the personal training packages and signing up for this. After the tour, I tried the free 1:1 session but ultimately decided that I did not want to proceed with personal training and expressed this clearly. For months after this I was called repeatedly about signing up for personal training even after expressing that I was not interested and didn’t wish to be contacted about this. I understand that personal training is a service that staff are trying to sell, however I felt like the way it was approached was overwhelming and left me with a bad impression. Overall, the facility itself was good, but these issues made it difficult to fully enjoy my experience.
