  I did a free pass workout here. Great equipment and everyone was nice! I was helped by Ruba the general manager! She was amazing and was not pushy on sales at all. I have one more gym to try but def on the top of my list! Give Ruba a raise 🙏🏼

  Want to go to the busiest gym you’ve seen in your life? How about paying fees when DOWNGRADING or CANCELLING your membership? If you’re not sold yet, how about having machines being constantly broken down and not repaired, along with indifferent and incompetent employees? Look no further, waste your money here!

  Meine Freundin und ich waren für einen Einzeleintritt über Mittag im Fitness World. Es gibt einen eigenen Bereich exklusiv für Frauen, das ist selten. Das Fitness war über Mittag recht stark besucht, es gab aber immer einzelne Nischen, in die man sich zurückziehen kann. Es war ein guter Besuch!

  I would recommend not trusting what is communicated to you verbally by the people who work here. I was misguided by one of their employees on what the payment plan looks like. Read the agreement carefully as Eve who is commenting on these Google reviews implied to me that it doesn't matter that their staff does this and are unwilling to make things right due to policy reasons. While I can understand that I signed the agreement, they clearly don't care about acting in good faith and are okay with partaking in predatory approaches to get your money. It’s clear that Eve’s responses to negative reviews don’t have any sustenance regarding this issue as multiple people have commented on this but people seem to still have the same issues over the last couple of months. Overall, very greasy, and they appear to have no problems acting with no understanding and lack of empathy in private email communications but will spend time crafting long and warm responses in the Google reviews to save face to the public. (see Eve’s response to Maya M, William D, etc.) Edit: As you can see, Eve is trying to change the narrative and not take accountability. As I told her, I spoke with a representative about the details of the agreement in person. This was communicated to Eve in my email exchange. I then went and did the membership online. There is no "clarification" Eve has added. It is simply choosing to ignore what I've stated and my experience in an effort to save face on a public forum. Please be cautious when signing the agreement.

  DO YOUR DUE DILIGENCE BEFORE JOINING!!! OR Stay clear of this gym, they will find whatever loophole they can to refuse your cancellation and continue to charge you no matter what. They do not care for you, just your money. No matter how long you're a member. Keep in mind if you're looking to cancel your membership, they will not count the day you give notice! I'm on my third charge after giving them notice 30 days ago. Even though I was told when I went in to cancel that I only had two more payments not 3. So they will tell you what you want to hear to get rid of you and then do whatever they want. I also emailed the manager for the location to give my notice direct yo 30 days ago and it went unanswered. If you're already in one of their traps and you're a member, go to the Cambie location. The staff is actually nice at that one unlike the Kitsilano location. Make sure this is not your homebase location!
