Adult eye exams

We thoroughly examine your eyes to make sure they are healthy and we'll also be able to detect diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. That’s why it’s so important to have your eyes examined regularly.

Children’s eye care

Children’s eye tests are different from adult eye tests. However at Specsavers, your child’s eye care is just as important to us. Book your child’s eye test at Specsavers.

Contact Lens assessments

During your contact lens assessment your Optometrist will assess your suitability to use contact lenses and discuss the best product for you. We will help teach you how to use contact lenses and we recommend you allow about an hour in total when you visit. An up to date eye exam is required, if you haven't had an eye exam recently please book an eye test on the same day. If you already wear contact lenses, please wear your lenses and bring your current glasses to the appointment. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 15 or under.

3D scanning technology (OCT)

At Specsavers we include an advanced 3D eye scan as part of every standard comprehensive eye exam, at no extra charge. This helps our optometrists detect eye conditions earlier and makes our eye exam the most revealing eye exam yet.

Their USA based system made, confirmed and REMINDED me of an appointment today, September 30th, which is now a Statutory Holiday in Canada (but many businesses are still open). I arrived to a closed store. Thank you! I'll ensure I get my glasses at a 100% Canadian company in future!

Stay away from this retail !!!!!!! Warning !!!!!!! Attention !!!!!!!!!!! On the early day of September purchase, I ordered two pairs of prescription glasses. I specifically consulted with your sales associate regarding the lens options for both pairs First Pair: The associate advised that ultra-thin lenses were necessary for aesthetic appeal and weight reduction due to my prescription. I accepted this recommendation and paid the required extra fee. Second Pair: I explicitly double-checked with the associate whether standard lenses would be sufficient. The associate unequivocally confirmed that standard lenses would work completely fine and that no extra fee was required. Based on this professional assurance, we finalized the contract for both pairs. However, two weeks after the purchase, I received a call from store informing me that the optical lab deemed my prescription too high for standard lenses. I was told that the store refuses to make the second pair as originally agreed unless I pay an additional fee. This situation is entirely unacceptable. As a professional optical retailer, your staff had my complete prescription on file at the point of sale. Accepting the order, confirming the pricing, and then refusing to fulfill the agreement two weeks later due to an internal assessment error constitutes a clear breach of customer trust and failure to honor a sales agreement.
