  This gym is honestly the worst I’ve ever been to. The space is nice I guess equipment wise but it is always FILTHY. So messy and they constantly have like 10 plus people working doing absolutely NOTHING to help organize or re rack weights/tidy up, the girls at the front desk just gossip and go in their phones and they literally never greet you when you’re entering or leaving. This place is such a joke and the management doesn’t take any complaint seriously. They are just so unprofessional I’ve switched my membership to anytime. I hate this place with a passion

  Very disappointing experience at Fitness World Surrey Central. I have been a loyal member for almost 12 years and have personally referred around 40–50 people to this gym. Today, I went with a friend who was interested in joining. Unfortunately, my membership payment was declined because my card had expired without my knowledge. I explained the situation and offered to arrange the payment online after my workout or before my next visit, but the staff refused to let me enter. I even spoke with the manager, but no reasonable solution was offered. What disappointed me the most was that I had brought my friend specifically to join Fitness World, but we were both turned away, and my friend left without joining. It was embarrassing and frustrating to be treated this way in front of someone I had personally recommended the gym to. I completely understand that businesses have payment policies, but I was not refusing to pay. It was simply an expired card, and I was willing to resolve the issue. After 12 years of loyalty and bringing so many new members to this business, I expected at least some respect, understanding, and professional customer service. This experience has seriously changed my opinion of Fitness World. I hope senior management takes this seriously and treats long-term members with the respect they deserve. Very disappointing experience. After 12 years, I expected much better.

  I’ve been a Fitness World member for years and use several locations, and Sharon and Shayla at the Guildford club are notable! Great faces for the club :). They’re friendly, helpful! :). Their positive attitude and energy made the visit that much better. Thanks, Sharon and Shayla! And team !..

  I really enjoy the women’s-only area at Fitness World Surrey. It feels comfortable, welcoming, and gives me a more private space to work out without feeling self-conscious. There is a good variety of equipment, especially for strength training, and I find it much easier to focus on my workout in this area. The gym overall has a good atmosphere, and the staff have been friendly and helpful. I also appreciate that the women’s section makes going to the gym feel less intimidating, especially when you’re still getting comfortable with weight training. Overall, I’m happy with my experience at Fitness World Surrey and would recommend it to women looking for a comfortable place to work out.

  Beware! They talk nicely and are quick to take your money, but the service falls apart when something goes wrong. I signed up for a $4,400+ training package at Fitness World Surrey specifically for my trainer and my needs. 2 months in, he left the company without notice to me and I was left stranded and no one bothered. I tried to find an alternative trainer within the same team on my own, but no one could offer what I signed up for, so the service I paid for is unavailable. I requested a refund on August 1, 2026 and have needed repeated follow-ups and identity verification just to get replies. Nearly 2 months in, my 33 unused sessions are still unrefunded, and no one, including management, has treated this as a priority. I would think twice before buying any training package from Fitness World Surrey. If they talk nicely and try to sell you something, take that as your first sign to be cautious about what you're signing up for. And if you ever need a refund through no fault of your own, expect to chase them for months. Update (Oct 8, 2026): Hi Hemin, Thanks for the reply, but let's not waste each other's time. I have sent more than a dozen emails over the past 60 days, and it has taken a Google review for the FW Surrey manager to respond. I asked for a call with someone in authority weeks ago and never received one. Your name is on my receipt as the employee who processed this sale, so you're personally involved with this purchase. I'm not looking for a complimentary session or a new trainer. I'm asking for the refund I requested on August 1, 2026, for my 33 unused sessions. If you want to earn back my trust, that's the only way to do it. If you cannot, please have Nastasia answer the questions in my email of September 29, 2026.
