  One of my favorite gyms. I've been with them for over 2 years now and the great friendly atmosphere keeps bringing me back. I've been training with Gavin my personal trainer and I've had such a positive turn on my fitness and body and due to his positivity and encouraging training program. He's one of the more experienced trainers for me and he loves his positive outcome on his clients.

  Kamal S was super helpful and friendly. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a great experience signing up today! Kamal S showed us around was incredibly friendly, patient, and welcoming. He took the time to explain everything, answered all of our questions, and made me feel really comfortable, especially since I'm new to the gym. The whole process was easy and stress-free. Thank you for such a positive first impression—I’m excited to start my fitness journey here!

  I am sharing my experience to warn other members about how this company handles complaints. I was subjected to ongoing harassment by a manager at another location. When I formally complained, I was met with retaliation—not an investigation. My membership was canceled based on a false accusation that I made a threat. What did I say? I said there would be consequences if the manager continued to harass me. That is not a threat. That is a boundary. That is self-protection. Despite having no evidence of any threatening language or behavior, my membership was terminated. I was then threatened with police involvement if I visited any other location. When I left honest reviews about my experience—reviews I am legally entitled to post—Fitness World and their lawyers responded with legalistic threats, attempting to intimidate me into silence. They threatened legal action over my right to express my honest opinion about how I was treated. Their so-called legal arguments are baseless, and their intimidation tactics will not work. I have filed formal complaints. No meaningful response has been received. No accountability exists. This location may have a high rating, but I urge potential members to think carefully. If you speak up about misconduct, this is how they may treat you. Document everything. Do not let them intimidate you. I am pursuing this matter through all available channels. Fitness World can expect to answer for their heinous and malicious actions.

  Moving from Burnaby to Surrey, I joined Fitness World on a friend's suggestion. I will be honest, I wasn't totally sold at first, the place is pretty big and everything felt new. But that didn't last long. The staff and the other gem members here just made it easy. People actually help you out, show you things, and nobody makes you feel out of place. This turned out to be one of the best calls I made after the move.

  My friend and I tried the 3-day free trial, and it was an excellent experience. The gym offers free parking, the facility is very clean and tidy, and the washrooms are well maintained. The best part is the wide variety of equipment and machines available, so there’s no need to wait even during peak hours. During our free trial, we also had the opportunity to get a complimentary body scan to measure our body fat and muscle mass. The staff, especially Nico, were incredibly kind, polite, and helpful. The trainers were also very friendly and professional. Overall, a 5-star experience for me. This is the best gym in Surrey that I’ve visited, and I highly recommend it!
