Good service, very helpful doctor, she is patient and explains everything fully.
Brought my older daughter to Specsavers in Superstore today to get an eye exam and a new pair of glasses. All the staff there were friendly and knowledgeable. Especially recommend Dr Doris Jin whom my daughter saw for the first time for an eye exam, and Simon Ling, an Optician, who has served both my daughters.
My daughter and I give both Dr Jin and Simon a 5 stars review. Let's start with Dr Jin. Dr Jin is knowledgeable, personable, down-to-earth, genuine, and efficient without rushing us (yes, she made it possible). She is so experienced in what she does, and so attentive to her patients' needs that it was as if she knew exactly what they need and acted in ways that puts them at ease. Dr Jin took the time to listen to what bothered my daughter's eyes, shared her observations, what she did in response to what she observed, explained and made suggestions in a language that we could understand. How Dr Jin worked made me and my daughter feel cared for. My daughter said she wants to see Dr Jin again
Next, Simon helped my daughter get a new pair of glasses today. His experience in serving children comes across in how patient and calm he was in listening to my daughter's very specific needs and responding by patiently pick out many pairs for my daughter to try on. His gentle and easygoing ways helped put my daughter at ease. Simon operates from a strength-based approach where he listens to a problem and looks for a solution. My daughter has had the hardest time finding a pair of glasses in the past that fits her nose comfortably and Simon offered a solution right away that was satisfactory to my daughter. I saw Simon 3 times in the past 2 weeks due to the vision needs of both my daughters. Hearing how many trips I have to make to Specsavers, Simon took the time to check to see if my younger daughter's glasses had arrived early to save us a trip. It did! I was so thankful. Simon's expertise in what he does, care for his patients, and easygoing attitude is what makes me recommend his service to everyone.

I booked an eye exam for my daughter at 3:30 PM, but we were not seen until 4:35 PM. During this time, the doctor saw two other patients, and nobody bothered to inform us about the delay or offer an apology.
When I questioned the staff, I was simply told that eye exams take time. Even the doctor showed no courtesy or professionalism, ignoring my complaint and continuing to organize paperwork while we waited.
I understand that delays can happen, but keeping patients waiting for over an hour without any explanation or apology is unacceptable.
This was one of the most disrespectful customer experiences I have had in Vancouver. I would not recommend this location to anyone who values their time and expects professional service.

I had a great experience during my eye exam today! The entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and professional. Dr. Larry was kind and knowledgeable. A special shoutout to Alexandrea at the front desk, who took the time to explain everything clearly and patiently. She made the whole experience smooth and comfortable. Thank you to everyone for the excellent service. Highly recommend! 🌝

Took my two kids to Specsavers at Richmond No. 3 Road (inside the Real Canadian Superstore) yesterday for eye exams, and the overall experience was simply amazing. They truly deserve a 5-star rating!
Thorough and Dedicated: I brought my two children yesterday, and each of them received a thorough examination lasting a full half-hour. The optometrist was extremely patient with the kids and didn't rush through any of the steps, which gave us great peace of mind.
Professional and Detailed: The optometrist was extremely professional and meticulous. Beyond routine vision checks, advanced equipment was used to thoroughly inspect the kids' eye health and retina, with every step explained in easy-to-understand terms.
Patiently Answered Questions: The optometrist patiently addressed all of our questions regarding the children's vision and daily eye habits without making us feel rushed at all.
Environment and Service: The clinic is clean, bright, and equipped with modern facilities. The reception staff were also very warm and friendly, making the check-in process smooth.
If you live in Richmond and are looking for professional and reliable eye care services, I highly recommend this location! Great service, high professionalism, and super kid-friendly. We will definitely be back for our next check-up!
