Adult eye exams
We thoroughly examine your eyes to make sure they are healthy and we'll also be able to detect diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. That’s why it’s so important to have your eyes examined regularly.
Children’s eye care
Children’s eye tests are different from adult eye tests. However at Specsavers, your child’s eye care is just as important to us. Book your child’s eye test at Specsavers.
Contact Lens assessments
During your contact lens assessment your Optometrist will assess your suitability to use contact lenses and discuss the best product for you. We will help teach you how to use contact lenses and we recommend you allow about an hour in total when you visit. An up to date eye exam is required, if you haven't had an eye exam recently please book an eye test on the same day. If you already wear contact lenses, please wear your lenses and bring your current glasses to the appointment. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 15 or under.

I went in for the first time two weeks ago. When I came in I was not greeted or acknowledged, I looked around the store and tried on many pairs of glasses, and still nobody spoke to me. I grabbed a tray myself as I saw someone else have one and I was holding multiple pairs of glasses. I spent about 20 minutes trying on glasses, with still no word from anyone. There were 3 staff members at the front desk on their phones and talking amongst each other. After I found some glasses that were good enough because nobody spoke to me at all to help find what i wanted, i went to the front to purchase. What help I did receive from the staff was disappointing. They were not welcoming, the entire experience I felt like a major inconvenience while spending over $300. I would have given a 1 star but the extra one is because the glasses are fairly affordable, and when I picked up my glasses the staff were different than the last visit and a little more friendly.

I enjoyed my experience with Specsavers. Their staff was friendly. The optometrist was friendly and skilled. My glasses came in a reasonable amount of time. And the prescriptions seem to match my eyes well. There was an adjustment period for my multi focal lenses, but they work well now. Thanks Specsavers.

The optometrist and the other staff were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable before and after I received my new glasses. They provided an unparalleled value in service and quality of my new glasses. The staff took time during the fitting to ensure the glasses are comfortable.
