Adult eye exams
We thoroughly examine your eyes to make sure they are healthy and we'll also be able to detect diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. That’s why it’s so important to have your eyes examined regularly.
Children’s eye care
Children’s eye tests are different from adult eye tests. However at Specsavers, your child’s eye care is just as important to us. Book your child’s eye test at Specsavers.
Contact Lens assessments
During your contact lens assessment your Optometrist will assess your suitability to use contact lenses and discuss the best product for you. We will help teach you how to use contact lenses and we recommend you allow about an hour in total when you visit. An up to date eye exam is required, if you haven't had an eye exam recently please book an eye test on the same day. If you already wear contact lenses, please wear your lenses and bring your current glasses to the appointment. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 15 or under.

All the people at Specsavers were very helpful. In particular the gentleman that met me at the door. He offered advice and also his opinion when I seemed undecisive. They were all very kind and helpful

I had a really wonderful experience at Specsavers. They have a great selection of beautiful frames, with options that are stylish, attractive, and reasonably priced. The customer service was also exceptionally professional, and I felt well taken care of throughout the entire experience.
Sarina was especially wonderful. She was kind, patient, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely helpful. She took the time to understand what I was looking for and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. I had a very positive experience with both the service and my purchase.
Overall, I was very happy with the quality, style, price, and professionalism. Thank you, Sarina, for making my experience such a great one!

Terrible. The service was terrible. The first eye test, left me with a right eye prescription being too strong. I went back they gave me a second test. They said the difference is minimal so just wear the glasses until your eye gets use to it. It’s been over two weeks and it is still blurry, causing headaches, and everything is blurry unless I look out of the left eye. They put two black dots on the lenses when they brought me in for the second test and the exam part wearing the glasses they did the test and the black marks were still on the centre of the lens. I said, it’s hard to read the board with it blurry as well as having the black dot on the lens. I was told, just do your best lol. When the exam was over and they told me just wear the glasses til your eye gets use to it, they handed me the glasses back. I walked outside put them on and t black dots were still on them. They adjusted the frames from falling off my face, which was too tight behind the left ear which caused a red sore, and the right side was still loose behind my ear. I went to crystal vision and they adjusted the frames for me. Thankfully. Would I recommend spec savers in Maple Ridge, no. Once you pay they don’t care!
