Adult eye exams
We thoroughly examine your eyes to make sure they are healthy and we'll also be able to detect diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. That’s why it’s so important to have your eyes examined regularly.
Children’s eye care
Children’s eye tests are different from adult eye tests. However at Specsavers, your child’s eye care is just as important to us. Book your child’s eye test at Specsavers.
Contact Lens assessments
During your contact lens assessment your Optometrist will assess your suitability to use contact lenses and discuss the best product for you. We will help teach you how to use contact lenses and we recommend you allow about an hour in total when you visit. An up to date eye exam is required, if you haven't had an eye exam recently please book an eye test on the same day. If you already wear contact lenses, please wear your lenses and bring your current glasses to the appointment. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 15 or under.

I’ve used this office for glasses for both my husband and me, and we’ve been happy with that service. Unfortunately, the eye exam was a completely different experience and disappointing.
It was honestly the quickest and most disappointing eye exam I’ve ever had — 15 minutes or less. My previous eye exams have always been much more comprehensive, usually close to an hour. This was also the first time I’ve had an eye exam where no eye drops were used for any of the checks, which made the exam feel even more limited.
I was also charged extra for the first time, despite having insurance and MSP coverage. I mentioned that my previous eye exams had always been covered, but it seems this office does not bill MSP for adults, which is fine. I have no issue paying for an eye exam, but if I’m being charged for a complete eye exam, I expect to actually receive a thorough examination.
The payment is not the issue; the lack of service is. I hope they reconsider the way eye exams are conducted in the future. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend this office for an eye exam at all.

How much is an eye exam?
Our comprehensive eye exams cost $99 at participating stores and include an OCT scan at no additional charge. This is a detailed 3D image of your eye and its structures, helping your optometrist to spot eye conditions even earlier. If you're 65 or over you can get a comprehensive eye exam with no out of pocket expense to you (costs covered by provincial health care plan for eligible patients).
How do I book an eye exam?
You can easily book an eye exam with us online. Just select the store and click ‘book appointment’ and our website will be able to easily take you through the booking process! You can also just give us a call or pop in and see us and we'll be able to book you in for an appointment and help with any questions you might have.
Can I return my glasses?
Yes, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase at Specsavers. If you have any concerns within three months of the date of purchase, we'll put it right.
How can I amend or cancel my order?
If you placed your order in-store with us and you’d like to amend or cancel it, just pop in and see us. As a part of our no worries, no fuss guarantee, you're able to amend or return your glasses within 3 months.
Can I get my glasses adjusted/repaired?
If you’re experiencing any discomfort or issues at all with your glasses, just pop in and see us and we'll see if we can adjust or repair them in-store for you.
