  Been going to this gym for two years. The equipment is good, but the service is atrocious. When we signed up, they didn’t even explain all the membership options available. Instead, they pushed us into a plan where you can only cancel once a year, during the same month you originally signed up, otherwise they charge you $70. Also, it’s called Club 16, but once you sign up they keep adding extra fees for equipment and other “needs” that were never clearly explained. To make it worse, they advertise perks like “refer a friend and they get 3 days free.” Total lies. I brought my friend in, but they refused to let him use the pass because he doesn’t have a BC ID, even though he had a passport and work permit proving he lives here. Then they tried to charge him $20 FOR A ONE-DAY DROP-IN. It’s basically a scam this place.

  I’ve been training at Club 16 for a while now, and I have to give a massive shoutout to Albara. He is consistently one of the most professional and attentive staff members I’ve encountered. His knowledge of the facility and fitness in general is impressive. He’s always ready to answer a question or offer a helpful tip with a smile. It’s clear he truly cares about the members and the environment he’s helping to create. If you see him on the floor, know you’re in great hands!

  Great value for the membership. It’s got all the equipment that 95% of beginners and intermediates need. Very friendly staff, but special shout out to Albara and Elena for always being extra welcoming!

  It’s absolutely amazing how even after countless emails, calls, and going in person. I’m still getting charged for a gym I haven’t been to in months. Trying to cancel the membership is a nightmare! But don’t worry, if you enjoy waiting for the one and only working machine to free up, you’ll love this place! And hey, you even get to pay a complementary fee of $65 a month for 9+ months while you’re trying to cancel. I really don’t see how that could be any more appealing. Save your money and go literally anywhere else. :)

  Really appreciated Abara’s help at the check in with a few things I had to sort out. He was very kind and took care of things efficiently and professionally!
