  Pleased I chose Mani Rahnama to fit me with my first hearing aids. He was patient, answered all my many questions to my satisfaction and his follow-up was more than I expected. I also appreciate that there was no pressure to buy more expensive aids. I got what I needed at a good price.

  Mani Rahnama, the audiologist at Connect Hearing Nanaimo North, recently fitted me with with new hearing aids featuring Spheric Speech. The intent of this feature is to separate background noise from one on one conversation, such as in a noisy pup or restaurant. I have now had occasion to experience them in both venues and I am totally amazed at how well they work. I was able to have a "normal" conversation across the table while surrounded by very high noise levels, a situation that would have previously left me frustrated and probably with a headache. Truly magical! Thank you Connect Hearing and in particular Mani, who did such a great job fitting and setting them up for me.

  I've been dealing with Connect Hearing for 20 years, in North Vancouver and Royal Oak in Victoria. Both were outstanding and I stayed a customer because of their service & BCAA discount. After moving to Nanaimo and experiencing the receptionist both over the phone and in person, I'm not sure I will stay with them as she was curt, disinterested and officious. I will definitely try the other branch next time and if no better will shop around.
