- AKAbhinay KumarOct 25, 20261.0I am extremely disappointed with both Prada and LensCrafters. I purchased a pair of Prada prescription glasses and a pair of Prada sunglasses in aug or September 2026. I primarily wore the everyday glasses, while the sunglasses were barely used at all. Within just 2 to 3 months, the frame on the glasses developed a noticeable defect and became crooked. For glasses that cost roughly $700 to $800 a pair, this level of quality is completely unacceptable. When I took them back to LensCrafters, they agreed to replace them under warranty, but then hit me with a $26 shipping charge. Let’s be clear: charging a customer $26 to fix a manufacturing defect on a luxury product that broke with minimal use. It is not "customer satisfaction" to penalize the consumer for selling a faulty, unreliable product. Prada frames are clearly not durable or reliable, and LensCrafters does not care about taking care of their customers—they just want to find another way to squeeze more money out of you. Save your money, skip the Prada brand, and think twice before buying from LensCrafters if you expect standing behind what they sell.
