Adult eye exams
We thoroughly examine your eyes to make sure they are healthy and we'll also be able to detect diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. That’s why it’s so important to have your eyes examined regularly.
Children’s eye care
Children’s eye tests are different from adult eye tests. However at Specsavers, your child’s eye care is just as important to us. Book your child’s eye test at Specsavers.
Contact Lens assessments
During your contact lens assessment your Optometrist will assess your suitability to use contact lenses and discuss the best product for you. We will help teach you how to use contact lenses and we recommend you allow about an hour in total when you visit. An up to date eye exam is required, if you haven't had an eye exam recently please book an eye test on the same day. If you already wear contact lenses, please wear your lenses and bring your current glasses to the appointment. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 15 or under.
3D scanning technology (OCT)
At Specsavers we include an advanced 3D eye scan as part of every standard comprehensive eye exam, at no extra charge. This helps our optometrists detect eye conditions earlier and makes our eye exam the most revealing eye exam yet.

Shannon at Spec Savers Aberdeen Mall, was exceptional. Trying to choose frames for
someone with dementia and not having good sight, was a challenge and she knocked it out
of the park. We live in Alberta, bringing my mother in law, Anne in from Kamloops. Once the glasses were ready, Shannon offered to deliver them to the nursing home and fit them for Mum. So grateful and thankful for this exceptional service. Mum is so happy to be able to see properly. Thank you Shannon!
Regards! Tammy and Jon 😊

Specsavers in the Aberdeen mall had a sale for 2 pairs. I was greeted immediately by a lovely lady that helped me choose two pairs of glasses as well as explain the different types of lens and transitions available. She took her time to explain costs and different choices. I never felt rushed to choose glasses or lens. I appreciated the kind and honest service I received and would highly recommend Specsavers In the Aberdeen Mall in Kamloops BC
