- EKEric L KayMay 2, 20265.0A most excellent experience, the first time in 20 yrs of hearing aids that were not wearable because they amplified sharp sounds to be annoyingly painful. The Courtenay audiologist took care and attention in adjusting and toning down the 'normal' everyday sounds while making speach understanding. I put them in first thing in the morning, and take them out when I go to bed.
