Her friendly and professional service made the whole experience enjoyable. Thank you, Olivia, for your outstanding customer care.

Ordered new frames and lenses from this company. I had multiple issues with my new glasses and had to return them repeatedly. The workmanship and quality of the glasses was poor. After a year, I ordered the same frames and lenses from another online company and the quality and workmanship was outstanding right from the beginning. The frames and lenses were of better quality and didn't need constant adjustments just to fit and my vision was crystal clear and much sharper with these new lenses even though my prescription hadn't changed. I would never purchase frames and lenses from this company again as the quality of their workmanship and product was of poor quality. When I brought them into be repaired by another optometrist, he confirmed the lenses themselves were very low quality. In addition, even though I ordered the scratch coating the lenses had multiple fine scratches after a short period of time. One positive note was that the clerk who helped me choose a frame was excellent in that she took the time to help me find a frame that I was happy with. Other than that, the whole experience was a disappointment to say the least.

I walked in to Metrotown Lens crafters and walked around the store couldn’t see anything I liked and just when I was about to leave MANJIT asked if he could help and when I explained what I was looking for right away he knew what would work for me and my goodness his first pick was great and when it came to lenses and prescription he was so knowledgeable and explained everything clearly in detail. I have never met anyone in the 40years that I have lived here who has such a courteous and caring and knowledgeable approach and is dedicated to his job. Thank you

I have been a loyal LensCrafters customer for almost 10 years, and this was my worst experience at any location.
My glasses were made incorrectly, and when I returned multiple times, the manager was dismissive and told me, “Your power is too high, and I don’t fix noses here,” after I showed him the red marks on my nose.
When I asked about changing the nose pads, I was told to order them from Amazon or go to another store.
The assistant manager attempted to help and reordered new lenses for me. However, when I returned and the glasses were still uncomfortable, she said she was busy, made a brief attempt to adjust them, and then asked me to come back the next day. I repeatedly felt unwelcome and not taken seriously.
I eventually went to another branch, where they spent over an hour correcting the issue and discovered the real problem was fitting the measurements were incorrect and the nose pads had been placed upside down.
This experience reflects poor handling of a fitting issue that should have been resolved much earlier. I would not recommend this location and definitely not coming back.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
