  I cannot say enough to express our family’s gratitude for the immediate response and action we received in our hour of need for services. Matthew was so kind and compassionate, meeting me within a few hours after my call requesting help. Our meeting at my home put me to ease immediately at a very stressful time. He was so professional, calming and thorough with the intake process. Thereafter, he had his staff at my home within an hour to care for my mother-in-law. Naomi and Jeanette are true professionals who provided the necessary immediate care she needed with professionalism and compassion. They respected both her dignity and extreme level of pain while performing the many necessary care giving tasks required. Jeanette arrived early the following day and immediately got to work assisting my mother-in-law and ensuring she had each task completed thoroughly and carefully. She is such a kind, gentle and caring caregiver. I cannot say enough about my recommendation for Homewatch Caregivers of Bakersfield. Should my family ever require services in the future, Matthew will be my first call. We went from being completely overwhelmed to being put at immediate ease with confidence once we met and saw what this staff can do. They were definitely angels in our hour of need. Thank you all so very much. Our gratitude will last a lifetime.

  We have been with Homewatch for 5 months now, and we've been really pleased with the service. Relieved, actually! Mom started needing some extra help at the end of last year, and since my sister and I are both working, we knew we needed to bring someone else in to make sure Mom was okay with day-to-day things, and making sure she has her oxygen on, etc. We started out with one caregiver, but are now with a young lady named Ledora, and she has been a great fit for my Mom. She knows when to push a little on helping my Mom, but she also knows when to step back and let my mother do something herself (she's a very independent person). Matthew and Grace have been great in terms of flexibility and scheduling. We are very grateful for the level of care our mother is receiving from Homewatch.

They bring expertise and thoughtfulness to what might otherwise be a very chaotic situation, in the process enriching the lives of our family members.   Homewatch has been the best thing to happen to my family after dealing with several different companies. I contacted Grace on Christmas in need of emergency care. She showed up the same day and provided me care for that night. I was very impressed with grace and how professional everything turned out to be with her in detail about the help I needed it. The care that was to be given. Needless to say I hired her on. if you need someone to show up for your loved ones without hesitation, hands-down grace is your go to. She will definitely make it happen. Thank you Homewatch. You’re the best.

  I've been using Homewatch CareGivers of Bakersfield for 4 months now (started in Oct 2025) and so far they've been very helpful!!! My Mom was diagnosed with Bulbar-Onset ALS 2 years ago and now she's starting to have trouble getting around and communicating. I live 3hrs away, so I have 3 different caretakers from Homewatch going to her house every week for just 2hrs/day (will increase as needed) and they are awesome. Matthew coordinates everything and the ladies are so nice, friendly, helpful, and caring. Thank you for all that you do for me and my Mom!!
