  This post is actually late but the gratitude that we have for Home Instead and the difference they made for the residents where I work, on Christmas Day, is an awesome and great feeling that has no time stamp. You see, I didn’t reach out to them until 10 December 2025, an impossible ask as most requests for gifts/donations should’ve been submitted at least a month or 2 in advance. In any way, when I called Home Instead, I spoke to Josellyn who filled my heart with hope with her positivity that she’ll take our late request and see what happens. She didn’t say any “hopeless” words like “sorry but it’s too late”, she only asked how many residents there were—40, not quite a small number! Fast-forward to the day before Christmas Eve, Mr Buck Shaw, CEO/Owner, personally delivered so many gifts for our residents! There were at least 3 or more items for each resident! Most of these seniors do not have families and were not expecting anything but as we handed them gift bags, their senior eyes lit up, toothless smiles from ear to ear, hands shaking as they asked gleefully “For me? From who?” I replied joyfully — Merry Christmas, from Santa Buck and the folks at Home Instead! Thank you Mr. Shaw and Home Instead, for making our seniors’ Christmas a joyful and merry memory. God bless you all for your generosity!

  I have been working with home instead since 2019 professionally and personally. Just two months ago they took care of one of my family friends and were able to start care same day. Faith and Liz go above and beyond in the community and have deep roots in so many healthcare areas even though they are non medical and I truly thinks that gives them such a strong base for their teams knowledge. Will forever be grateful for this amazing team of leaders and caregivers.

  We were so impressed with the Auburn Home Instead team!! They provided 24x7 care for our father. Symphony was compassionate and generous with her time in sharing their services. Caregiver Marvina was an angel. Monique and Mike are also lovely people. Helping our father die peacefully at home was so much easier because of the care from Home Instead.

  The focus of Home Instead staff is on the specific needs of my family. Our needs certainly can and do change but the intent to maintain the same care givers is another valuable focus to their service.
