This feels like another example of business greed today, where companies come up with excuses to squeeze more money out of customers. If I say my prescription still works, I should be able to use it. I know what’s comfortable and effective for my eyes. Checking the health of my eyes should be my choice, not a requirement just to make a purchase. Also, online you can get frames with a prescription even if it’s old. You can request a copy of it as it is your right because of HIPPA law. Policies like this only drive customers to take their business elsewhere. Costco, here I come!
