  I feel compelled to write a review, not only because of Dr Sarma’s outstanding treatment of me, but also because of what happened to her upon my last visit. A few reviews down, you will see a review from someone named Sahar. Sahar is not a patient of Dr Sarma, but her father is/was. I was there the day Sahar came in to confront Dr Sarma; the woman, Sahar, was demanding that the Doctor make her father’s referral into an urgent one. There are so many things wrong with this. 1) if it was urgent, Dr. Sarma would have sent the man to the ER where he could be treated right away; or she would have made the referral urgent in the first place. 2) how can the Dr share any information with this woman? Her father was not mentally unable and did not authorize this. How do we know this was even his daughter? 3) Sahar was literally standing up, speaking very loudly (I heard from ann exam room) and was trying to bully Dr Sarma. 4) It would be unethical of the Dr to favor this man, and unfair to the others who are in line to see the specialist. This woman, Sahar, does not understand how our medical system works. When she started speaking down to Dr Sarma and quite frankly threatening her - I was forced to in. Doctor Sarma is a kind & very trustworthy doctor who has always had my best interest in mind, and knows how to appeal to me in order for me to listen to her and take what she prescribes. This is a highly underrated skill. One time I avoided emergency surgery because of her guidance- this is almost unheard of. I will not give details, but it is the truth. I am in good hands and will use her as my internist until she retires- which I hope is never. I highly recommend Dr Sarma, her and her team are exceptional. Please disregard the malicious review from that other woman. She is a bully, who didn’t get her way.

  Dr. Sarma has been my primary Dr since 2015. I have only amazing things to say about her. She is very caring and always attentive to find the best solutions for my health. About her staff, I can’t praise them enough, their attention to each detail, their communication skills and politeness. Dr. Sarma has been my husband’s primary Dr for decades and that’s why I went to see her 10 years ago. I have never been disappointed with her or her staff.

  rarely write reviews, but my experience with this doctor for my dads health has been so disappointing that I feel it’s important to share. From the very beginning, it was clear that she lacked both empathy and attentiveness toward her patients. I tried to schedule an appointment with her multiple times, expressing genuine health concerns regarding my dad but she repeatedly disregarded my situation as though it wasn’t a priority. What stood out most was the complete lack of compassion. When a patient reaches out, they are often vulnerable, anxious, and looking for reassurance or at the very least, acknowledgment. Instead, I was met with indifference and dismissive behavior. It felt as though my concerns were not heard or taken seriously, which is not only frustrating but also disheartening when you are depending on a healthcare professional for guidance. A good doctor should demonstrate care, understanding, and a willingness to listen. Instead she repeatedly told me that she is the doctor and clearly has lots of ego and pride who acts like a know it all. Unfortunately, I found none of those qualities here. Each attempt I made to address my dad health issues was brushed aside, and it became clear that dads well-being was not a priority. The lack of communication and empathy is unacceptable in the medical field, where trust and compassion should be at the core of the patient-doctor relationship. I would strongly advise others to seek out a physician who values their patients’ time, health, and peace of mind. No one should feel ignored when it comes to their health, and sadly, that is exactly the experience I had with this doctor.

  I had a very disappointing experience with the receptionist. They were rude and seemed uninterested in assisting patients, even when someone is in significant pain. Initially, they gave me an appointment, but after hearing my concerns, they canceled it without offering any real support. Instead, they simply told me to go to the ER. It felt very dismissive, especially when I was hoping to see a doctor who specializes in internal medicine rather than an emergency doctor.

  My wife had her immigration medical here today. My wife has been nervous about it for the past couple of weeks but Dr Sarma and all the staff there made my wives time there easy and effective. I really appreciate them for what they do.
