Adult eye exams
We thoroughly examine your eyes to make sure they are healthy and we'll also be able to detect diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. That’s why it’s so important to have your eyes examined regularly.
Children’s eye care
Children’s eye tests are different from adult eye tests. However at Specsavers, your child’s eye care is just as important to us. Book your child’s eye test at Specsavers.
Contact Lens assessments
During your contact lens assessment your Optometrist will assess your suitability to use contact lenses and discuss the best product for you. We will help teach you how to use contact lenses and we recommend you allow about an hour in total when you visit. An up to date eye exam is required, if you haven't had an eye exam recently please book an eye test on the same day. If you already wear contact lenses, please wear your lenses and bring your current glasses to the appointment. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 15 or under.
3D scanning technology (OCT)
At Specsavers we include an advanced 3D eye scan as part of every standard comprehensive eye exam, at no extra charge. This helps our optometrists detect eye conditions earlier and makes our eye exam the most revealing eye exam yet.

Driving home after picking up my glasses, I noticed something different. As I turned onto TWP 524 and crested the hill, I saw the tee intersection 2 miles away. The 1st time in years, and while watching TV , I could easily see the score details.
I would like to thank Dr. shuayb Akhtar, for taking the extra steps to get my vision back.
I had thought that my vision degradation was part of being old.
My previous optician had kept giving me prescription that were not working and didn’t listen to my concerns.
I now have the vision I did 10 years ago.
The staff at the spruce grove store treated me with respect and dignity , which is getting hard to find in the fast paced society.
Thank you again, you are great.

The customer service at this Specsavers is above top notch. I have not experienced such a great team in a really long time. I had to make some changes to an order and they were so accommodating, and when picking out frames, I asked for complete honesty about their opinions, and I REALLY appreciated that they were honest and I didn’t feel like they were just saying all positive things just to make a sale.
They were not pushy AT ALL and I really liked that John was on the floor, chatting with customers and supporting the staff. Amy was great in the exam, I didn’t feel rushed, and she took the time to explain things to me when I had questions. This location deserves awards!!!!
