We thoroughly examine your eyes to make sure they are healthy and we'll also be able to detect diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. That’s why it’s so important to have your eyes examined regularly.
Children’s eye care

Contact Lens assessments
During your contact lens assessment your Optometrist will assess your suitability to use contact lenses and discuss the best product for you. We will help teach you how to use contact lenses and we recommend you allow about an hour in total when you visit. An up to date eye exam is required, if you haven't had an eye exam recently please book an eye test on the same day. If you already wear contact lenses, please wear your lenses and bring your current glasses to the appointment. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 15 or under.

Amazing customer service, after a misunderstanding Gurm, the lady helping me, made it easy for me to understand the different lenses and made my visit much easier, and the manager, Melissa, was also wonderful and took her to time to help solve my issue. The workers are very kind and understanding, overall it’s a very positive atmosphere and I would definitely recommend Specsavers.

As a glasses-wearing personal jungle gym (thanks to my toddler) my frames are constantly getting bent out of shape and warped! 😂 I’ve been back to Specsavers multiple times to get them fixed (definitely didn’t think that one through when I chose thin metal frames, lol).
Every single time, Ricky has worked his magic and gotten them back to looking practically brand new! He’s always been such a huge help, and I really appreciate the time and care he puts into fixing them.
If you need someone who knows what they’re doing, I highly recommend Ricky!

I'm at that stage in life where I need glasses for certain things, especially working on my laptop. A friend had used Specsavers and recommended them based on the deals they have. We visited our local store but they didnt have an optometrist on staff so I booked Sherwood Park as we'd be visiting friends in the area.
The staff were great. Very patient and took the time to explain everything. The eye test was very involved - I've only ever had one before and it was no where near as detailed. The optometrist was great and explained everything as he ran through the tests and explained what he found and gave a number of suggestions for glasses.
Selection of frames was ok, managed to find some that worked within my budget and benefits plan without spending too much more.
I went with a progressive frame which increased the price whereas my wife went with readers which were fully covered by our benefits.
I will be going back for a pair of readers soon, one with tint for reading outdoors.
Would definitely recommend a visit here.

Ricky was absolutely wonderful from when I first walked into Specsavers Sherwood Park Mall for the first time with my prescription and when I left with his on point glasses adjustment. I love my new glasses too, he walked me through all the features and benefits - very appreciative of this. He is so knowledgeable, kind, patient, and customer focused. I had an amazing experience at Specsavers because of him. Frontline staff is also very cordial and customer focused. Overall, a wonderful refreshing experience here! Highly recommend this place!
