We thoroughly examine your eyes to make sure they are healthy and we'll also be able to detect diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. That’s why it’s so important to have your eyes examined regularly.
Children’s eye care
Children’s eye tests are different from adult eye tests. However at Specsavers, your child’s eye care is just as important to us. Book your child’s eye test at Specsavers.
Contact Lens assessments
During your contact lens assessment your Optometrist will assess your suitability to use contact lenses and discuss the best product for you. We will help teach you how to use contact lenses and we recommend you allow about an hour in total when you visit. An up to date eye exam is required, if you haven't had an eye exam recently please book an eye test on the same day. If you already wear contact lenses, please wear your lenses and bring your current glasses to the appointment. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 15 or under.

Its the worse place to buy glasses, they didn’t give me the right prescription even i visited couple times not helpful at all, just paid money for my glasses is totally waste, not satisfied at all

Ok, Asha is my hero!! 🫶🤣
Came in from work, zero time to waste, found the most gorgeous pairs of glasses in seconds. There were technical difficulties with Alberta Blue Cross and I was still in and out of there in just fifteen minutes!
Asha has that type of magic you can’t teach to anyone, she made me feel like family or an old friend 💖

The service at the WEM location is terrible compared to the Southgate Mall store. Both times when I went to the WEM one, the store associates were chatting at the back, and it was work and time wasting for us to get their attention. I felt they are not willing to help customers.

I’m writing this because about my appointment and experience today feeling extremely disappointed and frustrated.
I arrived around 3:40 PM, using my break to make sure I was at the specsavers on time for my 4:20 PM appointment. I didn’t even have the opportunity to eat my lunch because I made sure to prioritize being there on time.
I waited patiently, but I noticed that some people who arrived after me were being called before me. By 4:27 PM, I was still waiting. I understand that appointments can sometimes run behind, but I believe patients deserve to be informed and, most importantly, have their time respected.
I also have concerns about the cost of my trial contact lenses. I paid $50 this time, whereas previously I paid $25. When I explode because I don’t want to cause any scene then they called me asking me to come back aka coming from the second floor to main floor parked all the way close to Simon’s. Because I was upset. I found that response particularly disappointing. I believe concerns should be addressed professionally rather than making the patient feel as though their frustration is the problem.
What makes this experience especially unfortunate is that the staff members themselves were very nice. My issue is not with anyone personally; it is with how my time and concerns were handled.
My husband has previously received care here and did not have an experience like this. As a woman, being treated this way left me questioning whether my concerns were being taken as seriously as they should have been.
I came in respectful, patient, and understanding. I simply expected that same level of respect in return.
Unfortunately, after this experience, I have decided that I will not be returning. I hope the clinic takes this feedback seriously, because patients’ time, money, and concerns deserve to be treated with respect.
