  Shanon was really helpful and the entire team too, after work i wondered how to make it to the appointment with my kids but shanon kept my twin boys busy and they had fun. Thank you team specs and shanon you are really incredible. Keep doing what your doing and the sky indeed is the limit, harneet, shanon and stephanie it was great service and you met my expectations.

  My initial appointment with the optometrist was a good experience. I especially appreciated that the staff did not pressure me while I was looking at glasses. Unfortunately, once I had made my purchase, the experience changed completely. I had to return twice to have my new glasses properly fitted. The first time I had them fitted, it was approximately 20 minutes before closing, and the staff member who had originally fitted my glasses repeatedly made comments about how soon they were closing, which made me feel like I was inconveniencing them simply by asking for the glasses I had paid for to be properly adjusted. She didnt adjust them properly. They pushed into my temples causing headaches and somehow fell off the front of my face completely if I slightly leaned forward. I also brought in an older pair of glasses that I had previously worn but had never had fitted. When I returned for a second adjustment, another staff member told me that the screw on the glasses had been stripped. This raises a serious concern, as the glasses had been handled by the previous staff member during the initial adjustment, yet nothing was mentioned to me at the time. Unfortunately, I am also extremely disappointed with the quality of the glasses themselves. The lenses appear to be extremely thick and create a noticeable double reflection. It causes massive headaches and i havent worn these glasses since the first two weeks ive had them because of the migraines. I have purchased glasses from Zenni in the past, and the lenses I received from them were significantly thinner and, in my experience, much better quality. Given the price I paid, I expected considerably better from specsavers as they were more than double the cost. I submitted a complaint regarding these issues and, unfortunately, never received any response. My boyfriend has also had a very disappointing experience with Specsavers. He had an appointment with an optometrist who told him that he needed glasses. He purchased glasses based on that recommendation, only to later get a second opinion from another professional who told him that he did not need glasses and should not be wearing them. Specsavers had instructed him to wear the glasses for four weeks. However, the second opinion he received was that wearing the glasses unnecessarily for four weeks could potentially negatively affect his vision and could result in him actually needing glasses. There was also conflicting information regarding the return policy. When my boyfriend went into the store within the first 30 days, he was told that he had three months to return the glasses. Based on that information, he did not immediately return them. However, when he later went back, he was told that the return period was actually only 30 days and that he was no longer eligible for a return. Overall, both of our experiences have been extremely disappointing. The initial optometrist appointments were positive, but the customer service, quality of the glasses, handling of adjustments, response to complaints, and conflicting information regarding returns have left us feeling very dissatisfied. We expected much better service and accountability.

  I had an excellent experience at Specsavers Kingsway Mall. I would definitely recommend this team to my friends and family. Sandie and all the staff were incredibly professional, friendly, patient, and welcoming. They handled everything with great care and took the time to make sure I understood everything and felt comfortable throughout the process. I was especially impressed by how well the team worked together and how respectfully they treated me. Their kindness, attention to detail, and dedication really stood out. Sandie was wonderful and made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable.

  Stephanie the contact lens fitter was excellent and incredible helpful. I came in late one evening inquiring about contact lenses. Current Rx was done somewhere else, had a trial of contacts from the other place but didn't fit well. I saw Specsavers had a 15% off Acuvue lenses and I also had a PC Optimum offer for 60,000 bonus points. Both offers would expire by the time I would be able to get a trial in for a fitting but Stephanie was able to work some magic based off an old set of lenses, compared to my current Acuvue lenses, and with my current Rx, she was able to determine a set of lenses that would work, allowing me to get a trial set along with a finalized order so that I could benefit from both the Specsavers sale, as well as the PC Optimum bonus.

  I really wanted to give this place 5 stars because the doctor was great and very professional. However, the extra $30 charge for the PD measurement is unacceptable. This is something that should naturally be included in the exam fee. What makes it worse is that you don’t even carry magnetic clip-on glasses, forcing me to buy them online, yet you charge $30 just to give me my own PD reading! As for the technician, Sandy, the very first thing she did when she approached me was check if I had paid, without even saying a greeting first. While I highly respect her as an elderly woman, just like my mother, it is crucial for her to wear a mask during such a close-contact procedure. The distance was barely 30 cm, and I had to hold my breath to avoid inhaling her breath, which is a health risk. Thank you to the doctor, but the clinic's indirect pricing and hidden tactics felt like an underhanded scam."
