Purchased a pair of black/gold Dolce and Gabbana frames here in 2023, the prescription lens are immaculate i can see 3 fields away and very close ranges. The frames are amazingly made, i got insurance on them just in case! This year 2026 I went to FYI doctor jasper ave due to lack of any new D&G styles at Lenscrafts. I ended up leaving FYI doctors with the ugliest ugly Betty glasses because apparently my face symmetry didn't fit the luxury brands I wanted. I also can't see 3 fields away nor far/near distances with these new ugly betty glasses, im squinting alot with FYI doctors glasses compared to LenseCrafters. FYI doctots butchered my eyes, frames and prescriptions so badly! Please help me LenseCrafters, i'm wearing the D&G glasses again; although they are amazing it would be impossible to put 2 years of daily usage into them!! #savemyeyes

This is the best place to come get your eyes checked, and pick out the perfect glasses for yourself. They have a great staff of eye doctors, super friendly and informative, got me in and out of my eye exam in less then 20 minutes with no prior appointment made. Dr. Jasmine Li was a wonderful doctor. Afterwards I got redirected to the front where I was able to pick out frames for myself. They have a huge variety to choose from, with many different brands, styles and colours, which seemed almost overwhelming at first, and if it wasn’t for one of their amazing sales associates, Jasmina, I wouldn’t have had a clue where to start. Jasmina helped direct me to shapes and sizes to look for in terms of my face shape, and colours that would match my eye colour and complexion. She felt like my own personal eyeglass stylist - the whole experience so much fun and it was almost like she was reading my mind with what I wanted and what looked good. I also never once felt like she was trying to upsell me, or sell me something not worth the money. She had my full trust from start to finish. On top of the great hospitality and selection this place has to offer, they also have a 50% discount on frames AND lenses for I believe people under 20 but I’m not 100% sure about the restrictions on that discount. Either way, I had an amazing experience here. I will definitely be coming back to this Lens Crafters, and Jasmina again anytime I need anything to do with glasses. Definitely check this place out!
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
