Adult eye exams
We thoroughly examine your eyes to make sure they are healthy and we'll also be able to detect diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. That’s why it’s so important to have your eyes examined regularly.
Children’s eye care
Children’s eye tests are different from adult eye tests. However at Specsavers, your child’s eye care is just as important to us. Book your child’s eye test at Specsavers.
Contact Lens assessments
During your contact lens assessment your Optometrist will assess your suitability to use contact lenses and discuss the best product for you. We will help teach you how to use contact lenses and we recommend you allow about an hour in total when you visit. An up to date eye exam is required, if you haven't had an eye exam recently please book an eye test on the same day. If you already wear contact lenses, please wear your lenses and bring your current glasses to the appointment. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 15 or under.
3D scanning technology (OCT)
At Specsavers we include an advanced 3D eye scan as part of every standard comprehensive eye exam, at no extra charge. This helps our optometrists detect eye conditions earlier and makes our eye exam the most revealing eye exam yet.

To be clear this review is mostly about the delay from the lab not the store.
I will recommend the store to family and friends because the great service I received from Monica.
I got my new glasses (2 of them) on August 19 2026 unfortunately one has an issue and has to be sent back to the lab on the same day I got them. Today is Saturday September 12 and I don't have my glasses I have been trying to get a hold of them over the phone ( it's a 25 minute drive for me) since Thursday no one answered.

*Update #2: Received glasses on August 20.
*Update: I was very grateful to Monica at this location who has communicated with me about the issues and wait on my safety glasses August 18, 2026, my order was on July 14, 2026. Still not in yet, the delay is with the lab the safety glasses come from, out of Specsavers control. I was given a full refund, which is very much appreciated, we know how expensive glasses are. I was asked to take down this review by Specsavers, I decided to update the star rating.
Previous review.
I'm at the one month mark waiting for my order for prescription safety glasses. Still waiting. Specsavers sent me an email with this link to review my glasses. Uh... I didn't it. So I patiently wait for them to phone me back to either find my safety glasses or give me a refund. Currently, would not recommend. Hopefully will not have to go through credit card company to file a chargeback. I've waited 4 weeks now. Have just spoken with another eye glass business, they have told me that it normally takes 2 weeks to produce safety glasses, 3 weeks at most.
I have a feeling Specsavers lost my order.
