Adult eye exams
We thoroughly examine your eyes to make sure they are healthy and we'll also be able to detect diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cardiovascular diseases, cataracts, glaucoma and macular degeneration. That’s why it’s so important to have your eyes examined regularly.
Children’s eye care
Children’s eye tests are different from adult eye tests. However at Specsavers, your child’s eye care is just as important to us. Book your child’s eye test at Specsavers.
Contact Lens assessments
During your contact lens assessment your Optometrist will assess your suitability to use contact lenses and discuss the best product for you. We will help teach you how to use contact lenses and we recommend you allow about an hour in total when you visit. An up to date eye exam is required, if you haven't had an eye exam recently please book an eye test on the same day. If you already wear contact lenses, please wear your lenses and bring your current glasses to the appointment. A parent or guardian must accompany children aged 15 or under.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Specsavers Market Mall in Calgary! From start to finish, the service was exceptional, and the staff made me feel genuinely welcome and valued.
I would especially like to recognize Teressa, the Department Manager, for her outstanding professionalism, kindness, and exceptional customer service. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. Her genuine care for customers and commitment to ensuring a positive experience truly stood out.
What impressed me most about Teressa was her ability to combine professionalism with a warm, welcoming personality. She made the entire experience comfortable and pleasant, demonstrating the qualities of a truly excellent manager. She is a tremendous asset to Specsavers and deserves special recognition from senior management for her dedication and outstanding service.
I also sincerely appreciate the optometrist for the professional care, patience, and attention provided during my visit.

The optometrist discovered that my previous prescription was overcorrecting my astigmatism. She took the time to verify the discrepancy and resolve the issue right away. I’m glad I went to Specsavers to have my eyes checked.

Keith and Shary both checked the fit of my glasses, explained that I can come in for adjustments later.
I highly value the email that explained the care for the glasses. Before this email, I never thought about how opening a hot oven door can damage the lenses.

I was helped by a young woman whose name I unfortunately don’t remember. She was very friendly, attentive, and helpful throughout the process.
She’s young and has a bright future ahead of her! I would give her a 10/10 for her excellent service.
However, I would give a 5/10 for the delay in getting my glasses ready. It took 10 days, which I felt was longer than expected.
Overall, I was very happy with the service I received from her.
