  I really felt a lot of peace of mind with this company. I was so impressed with Elizabeth who thought outside the box. She dusted my fathers paintings and organized his closets. She took an interest in baseball his favourite thing to watch. She said she learned from him. That’s the kind of people you want around your family. Thank you.for your kindness toward my father.

  The entire team at Home Instead have been wonderful. They are all very professional and truly know how to give the best customized care to our loved one. The team has been extremely flexible when we have needed to make adjustments to our schedule. We have been using Home Instead for about 3 years now and they have brought so much peace of mind to our family. Highly recommend!!

  I have 2 caregivers from home instead Here’s a review for both I feel so fortunate to have Hildana as my caregiver. From the very beginning, she has been so easy to get along with—she brings a warm, positive energy that makes every day better. She has a natural ability to connect, and I genuinely enjoy our time together. Hildana is always happy to keep busy and takes initiative without needing to be asked. She does a fabulous job in everything she takes on, and it’s clear that she truly cares about doing things well. I really appreciate how dependable and attentive she is. One of the things I value most is how easy she is to talk to—she’s a wonderful conversationalist, and our chats make the days feel brighter and more relaxed. Beyond that, her compassion really stands out. She is kind, patient, and genuinely caring, and that means so much to me. Having Hildana’s support has made a big difference in my daily life, and I truly appreciate everything she does. Yemi I also feel very lucky to have Yemi as my caregiver. She is so easy to get along with and brings a light, positive energy that makes a real difference in my day. She is always in a good mood and has a wonderful sense of humour—it’s hard not to smile when she’s around. She never hesitates to help, even with the small things. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and she takes the time to make sure everything is done with care. That thoughtfulness means a lot to me. Yemi is also incredibly compassionate and genuinely caring. She has a kind and patient nature that really shines through in everything she does. I truly appreciate also having Yemi’s support and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dedicated caregiver.

  My family has been using Home Instead for our parents. The staff have been kind, caring and amazing with our parents. I really can’t say enough nice things about everyone. And they are always available to discuss any issues. Great team💕

  My Father was living in an independent living facility on his own up until February doing all his own banking, medications etc. He ended up In the hospital due to low sodium and while he was there he started saying he couldn’t be on his own once he got out. So my sister started calling Hone care places. We had no idea about home care and what it entailed. Allison from Home Instead came and met us at the hospital and walked us through everything. We at first thought 6 hours a day would suffice. However, after my Dad got out of the hospital it became evident he couldn’t be alone. We called one Saturday to increase the care and to my surprise someone answered. (On a weekend). You don’t know until you are in it how impressive that is. By Sunday, they had a full day of aides scheduled. The Home instead professionals were wonderful. They engaged with my Dad, they talked to him, they took him for walks, they did laundry,, changed his sheets, tidied up and did the dishes. When my Dad, ended up in the hospital again, we had Home Instead continue with the evening shift. He liked the aides and we thought it would help alleviate our concerns that he was getting the assistance he needed. At this time he had low vision, was very weak and using a wheelchair. By the time he was out, he was using his walker. They helped him with dinner, they changed his sheets and helped him with his bedtime routine. One time, my Dad asked for a cheeseburger and fries and she went out and brought him one. I can’t say enough about the program managers or the wonderful staff like Victoria, Christene, and Sam. They also have a portal where we could log in and see how my Dad’s day or evening was. This was especially helpful for my 2 sisters who live outside of Calgary . The notes were sometimes difficult to read as my Dad can be a handful, and combative but the staff handled it very well, giving him space while keeping an eye on him.
